Drum Phil 10-12-2006 09:34 AM

2muchket! 10-12-2006 09:44 AM

Yep I'm a teessider. From the Thornaby/Stockton area.

Drum Phil 10-12-2006 09:46 AM

Swish. Im from The very edge of boro, right next to the A19 in acklam.

Ever heard of a band called Beside Your Disgrace?

Patrick O))) 10-12-2006 09:48 AM

I'm composing =]

pendrightheloved1 10-12-2006 09:50 AM

My mums family are all from the Boro, Redcar and N. Ormesby. I havent been up there to visit in a while though for some reason.

By the way, nice to meet you guys in the thread, and Happy John Peel day.

jpshortstuff 10-12-2006 09:55 AM

ah, i love getting to go home early on a thursday.

Because its a horrible horrible place?

pendrightheloved1 10-12-2006 10:03 AM
Because its a horrible horrible place?
lol yeah that might have something to with it, plus the 4 hour travelling time from here. I read in the paper the other day that it was voted either the worst or second worst place in England to live. My town, Cheltenham was in the top three so yeah, not the kind of place you'd want to switch to.

Drum Phil 10-12-2006 10:09 AM

2nd i think. I'd do anything to move away.

Spectrum 10-12-2006 10:58 AM
Hey, you're back.
That I am, Wish. I hope to be around for a while more here - I really liked you guys.

/large manhug
Haha, good to see you too, GurS. Sorry I've been away for so long.

In other news, the public school system over here might just be offering up my youngest brother to you guys as part of some sort of foreign exchange program. More details as they emerge (as well as if he is, in fact, participating, which is still to be determined).

jpshortstuff 10-12-2006 11:02 AM

i'll take that small child your^^ offereing. i need a new foot rest.

Spectrum 10-12-2006 11:05 AM

He's 13 years old, but oddly enough, still small enough that he might even make a good foot rest. Sometimes we tease him about being short. He makes up for it, though, by being the wisest of the three children - he said this, of his own accord, a while ago:

"Party Politics is for indecisive people that can't waste their time thinking for themselves."

Ah right. And sorry I haven't heard of said band d'you drum for 'em.

Oh and as for the whole teesside being sh'it it is I know but it ain't that bad. We've got a good little music scene going on in and around teesside. Still can be pretty grim at times.

trysthedrummer 10-12-2006 01:17 PM

So what's everyone done today?

2muchket! 10-12-2006 01:20 PM

Started my 5 page Law essay on delegated legislation then played some bass.
