That's awesome, i'll be there. Have you ever been to a show there? I'm surprised Trenton even has shows.
Its a pretty good venue, they need to book more shows there. The stage is like 5 inches high and it'll fit about 200 kids. I'll be at school by this time so I need to convince my friend to want to go because I won't have a car. Chris you should come pick me up, and when you bring me back we'll get White Castle.

cbmartinez 07-27-2007 03:37 PM

I'll be in DC for school.

TimJim 07-27-2007 03:57 PM

NewKindofArmy03 07-30-2007 04:57 PM

Just read a rumor that In-N-Out Burger is coming to Philly..........

BuddyBigsby 07-30-2007 04:59 PM

No way. In-N-Out is only in Cali, and parts of AZ and NV. There's so many other closer locales they would spread to before crossing the country to Philadelphia.

santi3hg 07-30-2007 05:01 PM

In-N-Out restaurants aren't all corporate owned right? I'm sure someone can open the franchise in philly if they want to.

BuddyBigsby 07-30-2007 05:07 PM

Its family owned.

brand new/thrice/mewithoutyou
December 1, 2007 Atlantic City, NJ House of Blues
December 6, 2007 Philadelphia, PA Electric Factory
December 7, 2007 Philadelphia, PA Electric Factory

I'll be hitting up two of these probably. Is the HOB a good venue? If not, i'll just go to both Philly ones, but the Electric Factory sucks too.

santi3hg 08-01-2007 06:21 PM

Where did you get those dates from?

Let's Chop Cats! 08-01-2007 06:46 PM

No idea if HOB is good, but the other ones I've heard are good. I'll be in school heading towards finals at that time so I don't think I'll make it.

BuddyBigsby 08-01-2007 07:22 PM

I've been to a few HOBs in different places and if those are the same too then they're not that great. Its cool because the rooms are relatively small, but its like being at a big rock show. The sound is great but they usually do some whack stuff (ie. an absurd amount of reverb on Hatebreed vocals). For that kind of show though its a reasonably cool place, I saw Further Seems Forever's last show at an HOB and it was awesome. Just don't expect to buy any merch at a reasonable price because HOB takes a cut so shirts are like $20.

santi3hg 08-01-2007 08:18 PM

The HOB's ive been to have been alright. Nothing that great but good sound equipment, light, lasers type stuff and etc. Your standard club venue i would say.
Where did you get those dates from?
http://www.punknews.org has them up.

cbmartinez 08-02-2007 06:55 PM

If those dates coincide with some kind of break for me, I'm gonna try to go. Even if they don't, I'm going to at least one of them. When I saw Thrice at the Electric Factory, they were fantastic.

Feel The Darkness 08-05-2007 02:38 AM

Srsly, all those who said that the Mongoloids were boring live are tards. They played here tonight an put on an awesome show. Maybe it was due to the two trampolines strategically placed in the pit, or just good jams, but the show ruled. I'm gonna be so sore tomorrow. Haven't danced that hard in a while.

chips88 08-05-2007 10:48 AM

new Bitter End is on Oink, and yes, album of the year so far.

BuddyBigsby 08-05-2007 12:53 PM

Someone post it.

I ripped it from the LP but it sounds like ****.

shane italian 08-05-2007 02:20 PM

the mongoloids suck and a couple of the dudes are cry babies

war hungry on the other hand were awesome to hang out with

Firecracker 08-05-2007 02:31 PM

I hopefully will be able to go and see Bane and Have Heart at the beginning of september,
fingers crossed eh

haha, cry babies? details, dude. details.

I thought they were awesome though. I didn't like the older stuff they had on MySpace, but those 2 new tracks rule, and their live set was awesome.

I'm not huge on War Hungry, but I haven't seen 'em live, so I can't really say much, but their mp3s don't do much for me.

but the guys in the mongoloids were ended up getting into a big argument with my friend kenny over the dudes in seasick. kenny brought them up because theyre both from new jersey and then one of the guys called them fake punks so kenny ended up just talking **** to the mongoloids while the guys whined about seasick not letting them play shows at their house because seasick thinks they suck.

there was a point where they brought up seasick disliking mind eraser too and i said "whos that band?" with my mind eraser shirt on and the singer from the mongoloids got all serious couldnt take the joke

hahahahahaha

Well, they seemed like cool dudes when I talked to them at the show. Their singer was talking to me about comics at one point.

Aside from that, they still put on an awesome show. Hell, if you wanna hate on 'em for being crybabies, you can toss in a whole bunch of other bands who have proven to be crybabies, too.

NewKindofArmy03 08-05-2007 05:50 PM

Speaking of Mind Eraser, just got back from seeing them. Their set was like 6 minutes but they ruled.

RetiredAt21 08-05-2007 06:09 PM

Mind Eraser is pretty sweet but I don't listen to them nearly enough.

NewKindofArmy03 08-05-2007 06:34 PM

Check out Scapegoat if you haven't. They were awesome too.

RetiredAt21 08-05-2007 06:35 PM

Will do.

BuddyBigsby 08-05-2007 09:35 PM

War Hungry have some cool riffs but overall they suuuuuuuuck. If they could just pull it together they could be a decent band.

Mongloids blow dude... old stuff and new stuff. Live and on record. So ****ing sloppy and so not Life of Agony.

Let's Chop Cats! 08-05-2007 09:41 PM

Scott, no band will ever be LOA.... except maybe Blacklisted, but its pointless to compare them or any band to LOA.

BuddyBigsby 08-05-2007 09:47 PM

Why is it pointless? That's exactly who they're trying to be, except cr00shified. Its embarassing.

Let's Chop Cats! 08-05-2007 09:49 PM

No band will ever be as good as LOA so there is no point in saying "they wish they were loa" or something. Listen the point i'm trying to make is that loa is perfect and if a band can at least decently rip them off I support it.
