I didn't read this. I accepted it because he read all my posts and then he realised that he was wrong and I was right, just for that effort he did and knowing he never apologises, I think he deserves a third oportunity.

The albums with more than 2 votes are going to the next list. Then, from the other albums we have to choose the ones that'll fill the list. I thought about each person nominating again 5 or 10 albums (from the new list) and then the ones with more votes will go on. Then if there's a draw with some of the albums we have two options: Do what you said on MSN or the necessary polls (I suppose it will be just 1 or 2) to clear that up.

If you have a better idea please let me know.

I agree, all albums with two nominations (provided they're supposed to be in the poll) should go through. And then the albums with one vote go through to another round where people vote what goes through to make up the 75?

That's seems like the best idea, the only problem i can see is the who should/shouldn't go through argument popping up again.

That if we want a 50 albums list. Maybe a 75 would be a good idea. Then 3 or 4 polls would be enough I think.

Depends if you're struggling for 75 or not. If there's enoguh good suggestions to make it 75 do, but if you're having to include bands of other genres to make up the numbers then don't.
