America.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:09 PM

I know AC/DC wasn't too popular here in America until Back In Black, which has sold like 19 million copies, so that's why you haven't heard too much of them.
Who likes alice cooper? I think he's pretty awesome with great songs.

Some great songs are I'm Eighteen, Under My Wheels, No More Mr. Nice Guy, school's out

There are many mroe great songs... such as Generation Landslide, Desperado, Only women bleed, department of youth, welcome to my nightmare!
I love Alice Cooper, big fan. I like School's Out, Poison, and Hello, Hooray best.

I'm seeing him live in October.

Badmoon 07-09-2005 09:13 PM

"Desperado" is my favorite.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-09-2005 09:14 PM

Yea, who the fuck is AC/DC?

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:15 PM

Check out Back In Black.
It's by AC/DC.

Glitterati 07-09-2005 09:16 PM

Apparently, they're this big rock band from Australia. They were really big in the late '70s/early '80s, with an album called Back In Black.

But don't quote me on this, I'm getting all this from this thread. Must have totally slipped under my nose.

np: The Byrds - Turn! Turn! Turn!

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-09-2005 09:16 PM

I'll do that right away! :thumb:

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:19 PM

Oh one more thing... riff wise, they kinda sound alike between each song... have u ever heard of Jet, Jet basically stole lower end AC/DC riffs, except AC/DC does solos and are talented and original

Glitterati 07-09-2005 09:20 PM

Never heard of Jet, either.

*tries to hold in laughter*

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:22 PM

Makes sense. They must have sold out to do Back in Black.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:22 PM

no just new singer

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-09-2005 09:23 PM

They sound real talented and original alright. You sound like you're an intelligent person with respectable tastes.........

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:26 PM

that is original, and talent comes through break riffs and solos

Badmoon 07-09-2005 09:26 PM

You guys are jerks.

SRVS Greatest Fan 07-09-2005 09:27 PM

Hello Fellow Classic Rockers!

I belive that I've seen an increasing amount of classic rockers.. and im liking it because since I was 7 I've been rocking to AC/DC, by the way, they've been around about a quarter decade, so I would probably call them "Classic rock" not rock.. or anything..

The Doors
Hendrix
Pink Floyd (Not their 80s wall stuff, pffft)

Stevie Ray Vaughn(Not rock)

Keep Rockin'

Glitterati 07-09-2005 09:28 PM

Lighten up, 'poon, just a little fun among friends.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:28 PM

SRV is blues classic blues
Hey, the Poon name is catching on.
Nobody even knows who you are anymore.

Illmatic 07-09-2005 09:33 PM

Who is SRV?

No, just kidding, I know who he is. I'm not too fond of him, though.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:34 PM

I like only a few of his songs.

magicbus 07-09-2005 09:37 PM

I have a problem guys. I listened to Back in Black, but all the songs sound the same. Did I get a bad copy or something lol?

Illmatic 07-09-2005 09:39 PM

I'm not sure. I didn't even know about AC/DC until today.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:41 PM

no no problem thats how they are

magicbus 07-09-2005 09:41 PM
I'm not sure. I didn't even know about AC/DC until today.
Me neither, I just listened because they said I should try that one out.

hethamulburton 07-09-2005 09:43 PM

yea their songs are kinda similiar

Against Miik! 07-09-2005 09:46 PM

I used to like AC/DC. They are kind of annoying. Its just a gateway to classic rock I suspose, so they aren't that bad, but in a way, they are.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 07-09-2005 09:47 PM

hethamulburton : How long have you been listining to them? (just curious)
