They're ****ing awesome Japanese super-happy indie pop band. But they're really experimental too got some straight up noise, weird metal things, hip-hop influence sometimes. It's quite wonderful.

Also their members went on to form Natsumen but don't think that's the only reaso I love them!

RORO is their acclaimed album but it's different from the rest of their stuff...more straightforward post-rock/indie. And not quite as good imo.

So i'd say get Listening Suicidal and also RORO.

have you heard MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS? Or Number Girl? I think you would also like both of those bands. J indie rock, really cool and upbeat stuff.
