Botch - We Are The Romans
Poison The Well - The Opposite Of December
Buried Inside - Chronoclast

Did you read the first post?
When a thread is 247 pages long, just about nobody bothers to read the first post as it would probably not provide any discussion.
.:D

people who like Converge should check out Trap Them. They're on Deathwish too. Did you like it, Cocaine?
Trap Them is amazing to see in a basement with 25 people.

Tyler 11-14-2007 05:42 PM

Have you seen them in a basement with 25 people?

LifeInABox 11-14-2007 05:42 PM

No, I just felt like making that up to make myself sound like I know what I'm talking about.

i am the robots 11-14-2007 05:50 PM

I have yet to see Trap Them live, but I heard they're absolutely incredible.

RunAmokRampant 11-14-2007 06:06 PM

I want to see Tera Melos live but I doubt I ever will.

LifeInABox 11-14-2007 06:33 PM
I have yet to see Trap Them live, but I heard they're absolutely incredible.
They ****ing are, dude.

encmetalhead 11-14-2007 06:49 PM

Zao anyone?

Concubine 11-14-2007 06:52 PM

i like Zao's old stuff, newer stuff not so much

LifeInABox 11-14-2007 06:55 PM

I had the Funeral Of God but it was horrible, so I sold it back.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-14-2007 07:03 PM

Zao sucks.

i am the robots 11-14-2007 07:09 PM

Zao's old stuff is alright imo.

NP: Rifles At Recess - Here's To Broken Boys

God I wish this band was still around.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-14-2007 07:14 PM

I cant ****ing find that band anyway. :(

okay 11-14-2007 07:23 PM

hmmm sounds intriguing

Invicta_Veritas 11-15-2007 08:38 PM

Zao is horrible.

Matt, do you have any more Dead Man In Reno?

Tyler 11-15-2007 09:39 PM

Zao is not horrible.

4yearpro? 11-15-2007 10:10 PM

i saw them live in 04' i think on strhess tour with bleeding through, fight paris, darkest hour and misery signals. wasn't a fan but they looked energetic

Tyler 11-15-2007 10:11 PM

well Zao have gone through so many line-up changes that it's essentially a new band on every album but they're not horrible by any stretch.

Also, was drunk in a pizza parlour at like 3 this morning and they had a Cursed CD on.

botb 11-15-2007 10:21 PM

favorite genre right now besides progrock because i'm still 17 and go to shows to mosh :D

too many to list bandwise though.

Tyler 11-15-2007 10:23 PM

Judging by your name, I reckon a list would just go ridiculed anyways.

Invicta_Veritas 11-15-2007 11:24 PM

^^^
What he said.

Anyway, I should have rephrased that. I personally believe in my own humble opinion that Zao is horrible.

Maybe not; I guess I just don't like them for some reason. They bug me.

i am the robots 11-15-2007 11:29 PM
Zao is horrible.

They have three demo versions of new songs on there myspace, but other than that, their self titled is all they've recorded.

Invicta_Veritas 11-15-2007 11:57 PM

That sucks.

i am the robots 11-15-2007 11:57 PM

Nah, new stuff'll be out sooner or later, so woo.

Their S/T came out like last year.

Invicta_Veritas 11-16-2007 12:15 AM

All Shall Perish needs to put out a new album.

Tyler 11-16-2007 12:15 AM
All Shall Perish needs to put out a new album.
Axl needs to post in the death heads thread.

They do though.

Invicta_Veritas 11-16-2007 12:16 AM

Tyler an ASP fan? No fucking way.

Anyway, "deathcore" or whatever bands get too much shit there. It's safer in the metalcore thread.

Tyler 11-16-2007 12:18 AM

I know what you're saying but they're still death metal. Let the idiots talk their ****, they're so wrong that it's usually worth the lols anyways.

i am the robots 11-16-2007 12:23 AM

Indeed.

publicastration 11-16-2007 11:14 AM
I know what you're saying but they're still death metal. Let the idiots talk their ****, they're so wrong that it's usually worth the lols anyways.
Well they are deathcore are they not? Death metal infused with the hardcore tendency for breakdowns?

Not that death metal can't have breakdowns, but Benighted's breakdowns for example are much different and more "death metally".

Anyway I checked out Bring Me The Horizon, their breakdowns are kind of boring but I like the vocals.

Tyler 11-16-2007 11:23 AM

I'd say the hardcore comes more from the build-ups and pacing. The somewhat gang-y vocals and such.

BrokenChains 11-16-2007 11:27 AM

I'm now getting into As I Lay Dying I must say.

Invicta_Veritas 11-16-2007 11:44 AM

I only have heard Frail Words Collapse. It has a few stupidly annoying moments, but it's got its good moments too.

publicastration 11-16-2007 11:45 AM

Shadows Are Security isn't bad. It's rather generic I suppose though.

Invicta_Veritas 11-16-2007 11:46 AM

I probably wouldn't mind it. Usually when someone bitches about something being "generic", it's actually pretty good...just not original.

Not saying you're bitching; just making a general reference.

jrowa001 11-16-2007 11:46 AM

ive always been a fan os AILD. i do admit they arent amazing, but i just have a taste for them.
on another note, i finally got my hands on the new Himsa album, not too bad. it's better than Hail Horror

Invicta_Veritas 11-16-2007 11:48 AM

Never bothered to check out Himsa, despite thier popularity. What are they like?
