Well, had the talent quest. We did good, went from Ytse Jam (Dream Theater) intro, into the main riff, then into tommy the cat (Primus) then at the end of tommy went back to the Ytse riff, then finished with the Ytse intro.
We ended coming up third, which is pretty sh!t considering. But i'm still happy with our performance. The judges were bias'd (Arn't they always) and considering 5 out of 15 points was on costumes and the 1st place and second place were both in school uniform, I don't see how they won. But i'm still happy for them (I know them)... ohh, and we were dressed up in all like industrial/construction worker gear. I had overalls on like pants, then a black RATM top, and then one of those bright orange vests :cool: (I duno if u have em in USA, but aussies will know).
The 1st place sang her own song with keyboard, and second place sung and played feeler or whatever it is by Pete murray (I think).

So yeah, theres talk we still might make the final (It was a heat) and if we do, we might play glass prison or our own song.

But other than that, I got offered for two different bands. One is heavy, and is influenced by mudvayne/tool/primus/dream theater, and the other guys i havn't really talked to.
So I got some good things out of it, and about 20 chicks saying how fast my fingers were ;).. and yeah, long story of what happened afterwards :p

Umm, well we got the video, i spose some people mighta taken pics. But its not like a digital camera, so i duno how i'd get it onto a computer. I could always take a photo of the TV screen with my camera phone :p .. i'l try that later.

I want a camera phone. If I had a camera phone, everyone I knew with a camera phone with get up close pictures of my *** daily ;)

ha. Well when I got my new phone, I wanted an advance phone so I got the sony erickson P800. Its a cool phone but its too big. I cant upgrade until another 6 months so Im just gonna have to put up with it!

I was thinking one of those, but I got a T610 :cool: I love it. Got for cheap as chips as well, otherwise i wouldn't of got it.

She's getting better, too, starting to slap :D
We basically met because I was teaching her bass at the time, and well, as they say, it just went on from there. She plays French Horn and Piano as well, she's a very musical girl. She browses (and posts) the forums every now and then, so I hope she doesn't see all this :)

Hah, yeah. I had a couple of real-world friends on the boards once. Signed on about the same time I did. RapidFloyd posted about three times, a year ago, and JerryWasARacecarDriver still comes on every now and again, and has about 140 posts in the year.

Yeah, I've got a couple of friends that I've introduced. Muesli Bar, and Daniel_Son are both friends of mine.
