I don't like learning all of this random obscure information about a band I don't even like that much

I just noticed an extremely complicated guitar part being played on the left side on She who mars... (right after "shotgun will instead"). Until just now it was completely covered up by the big three chord chorus.

yeah, that used to lead into a solo but they got rid of it

It's not like I sit around memorizing facts, this is is just **** I happen to remember because I was around when it happened. I think I still have a bootleg with that solo left intact actually.

but the quality is pretty bad, i remember when i first got the bootleg i swore rody said "six year old girl" with this jewish "goyal" intonation instead of "six feet of soil". The solo, from what I remember, was just really fast, lots of notes and kinda dissonant.

I dont think people understand how often they used to play in the GTA before Kezia dropped worldwide. They were out and huge here for a solid two, three years before Kezia actually came out and there was another 8 month gap before it was released outside of Canada. I have this **** cuz I used to see them, no joke, probably two or three times a month.

that's pretty sick, it's awesome when you get to see a band keep getting bigger and bigger and you were there the whole time

yeah, and fortress was supposed to come out in november of 07, so it's been done even longer.

This guy has a bunch of pretty awesome HD quality videos. This is my favourite just because the Dissentience is so smooth live and he actually got a great shot of Arif tapping the **** out of his bass with Tim and Luke beside him and it's just a cool shot. Quality is outstanding, too. Sadly each video is titled "Protest the Hero" so you know have fun accidentally watching the same one four times.

Pretty much. That was all to do with Vagrant's management though. When I talked to Devin Townsend about it he basically said he'd never even met the band but that their management contacted him to remix it, hah.
