Well, it would sound better "Turns out penors are green".

*Penors

And yes.

Right, I think that there is a line between where you can be classed as a bad typer, and where you are just mentally retarded. Before now there was a bit of confusion which the guy was, but not it has been confirmed as the latter.

My favorite album is S/T by far. The other albums are ok, and I own Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, and Enema. but S/T blows them all away in my mind.

When did you get into Blink? I find peoples favourite album usually depends when they first started listening.

Kif 09-25-2005 01:52 PM

Another AVA member has been announced:

Ryan Sinn (the bassist that recently left The Distillers)

I'm hoping this band is going to have pretty good music. So far all of the musicians have come from well known bands, and are experienced, so they should at least write a couple of cool songs.

I bought Dude Ranch when In first came out because I liked Dammit, That's the first time I heard them, So I guess you could say that's when I got into them. But They weren't actually a band I consistentley liked until I heard S/T

So....they have two bassists? Honestly, I've never seen that before. I'm guessing one of them might play a different instrument?

Where did you hear that anyway?

oh, and sorry about the double post.

I see. Personally I think the S/T album is their worst. Not saying it's bad, it just doesn't compare to the others.

DJ Ducksauce 09-25-2005 03:07 PM

Their new album was very Boxcar Racer-ish. I loved it when I first bought it. After buying the other blink albums, I grew out of it.

B 09-25-2005 03:11 PM

Boxcar>S/T. By far IMO.

Yeah, but you can tell that the S/T had a bit of a BCR feel to it.

No. David Kennedy is a guitarist, Atom Willard is a drummer, and the guy from The Distillers is a bassist.

Yeah, I think Tom had a lot of influence on the type of music the band played.

I thought David Kennedy was a bassist as well, so that explains everything.

I suppose that's true. I started in the late 90's so Dude Ranch is my favorite, I guess cause I was raised on their older sound.

And I agree with whoever said that Boxcar was better than S/T.

That theory works for me, I only really got into Blink when the s/t came out, and it's my favourite still.

I keep going on and off about listening to Box car. Sometimes i can't be arsed to listen, but other times it's amazing to listen to. It's quite like that with s/t too.

From BCR by far, for me the best song is 'There is'. I heard it a while before i realised BCR had formed and thought it was Blink for a while... It kinda said a lot to me when i first heard it, that's why it's my favourite i guess. All of their songs are amazing and listenable to. I fell in love with the album quite soon after a few listens.

Yeah, I like that one, plus Watch The World, and The End With You.
