They do now, not on anything you heard. The first album since they added the second drummer isn't out yet.

RetiredAt21 09-23-2006 11:54 PM

Does it sound too crazy with two drummers?

whiteminority 09-24-2006 08:16 AM

No such thing as too crazy.

RetiredAt21 09-24-2006 09:22 AM

I forgot, you're right. I love crazy s'hit.

Subvert_bassist 09-25-2006 02:38 PM

I haven't heard any new songs taking full use of the two drummers yet. But he's right, there's no such thing as too crazy. I've seen the drummers do a drum solo together, that was pretty nuts.

Has anyone here heard of Oroku? They're a sludge-crust band from Seattle. They came down this summer and played with us here in Sac. They just put some tracks off of their upcoming LP on their Myspace, you should check 'em out:

I don't know what this is, but I like it. There's a few similar artists on their record label, but they mostly suck. I can't find anything I enjoy as much as this.

I like that band alot. Real good stuff.

Subvert_bassist 09-27-2006 12:42 AM

Yeah dude. Next summer, we might include Seattle in our tour and play with them and Skarp.

And yes, I do love Dystopia.

<---NoFX---> 09-27-2006 08:56 AM

Skarp are awesome. I can't stop listening to Aus Rotten at the moment, can't get enough

RetiredAt21 09-27-2006 09:13 AM

You can't not love Dystopia, they so good.

AIRIC 09-28-2006 08:37 AM

Yeah Dystopia are amazing.

In other new... Dropdead are playing here tommorow, but there is no way I can go :(

RetiredAt21 09-28-2006 11:21 AM

Dropdead! They're great.

AIRIC 09-28-2006 01:16 PM

Yes I love Dropdead. The first LP is so good.

Anyone like Green Beret? They did a split with Godstomper, they're kind of power violencey. The vocals are awesome, kind of remind me of Rudimentary Peni. I think there's a keyboard too. Good band.

RetiredAt21 09-28-2006 03:15 PM

I like Green Beret quite a bit. I haven't heard a whole lot by them, but what I've heard is good.

Jessizzle 09-28-2006 03:18 PM

Why can't you go?

AIRIC 09-28-2006 06:52 PM

I've got previous arrangements.

-Ganj
-Trying to beat the hot dog eating record at this local place
-Football game

Subvert_bassist 09-28-2006 06:54 PM

Let's break that down:

1 That can occur at Dropdead
2) Skip it. It'll only make you fat.
3) Dropdead>football

AIRIC 09-28-2006 08:07 PM

1. You're right.
2. I've been pumped for this for weeks.
3. True but there is not one person I am friends with who listens to Dropdead, and I'm not going alone.

and D. I have no ride and this club is a pain in the ***.

If I hadn't found out about this in a Myspace bulletin this mornign I definintely would've made a greater effort to get there.

whiteminority 09-28-2006 08:27 PM

GO SEE DROPDEAD DAMN IT!

AIRIC 09-28-2006 08:29 PM

:(.

whiteminority 09-28-2006 08:30 PM

I'm sorry but extreme circumstances call for harsh reactions.

Subvert_bassist 09-28-2006 10:38 PM

Just wondering: do any of y'all like the Doors? I've been obsessed with them for some time now. Everything from the blues to slow droning poetic song, and everything in between. Morrison's haunting poetry pairs great with the band backing him.

And, ol' Jimbo was a crazy, and I like crazy people, especially drugged out ones. They are just plain more entertaining then most poeple.

Click on that, the image of Bob Vila in a Born Against shirt makes me smile.

Not really my thing, though Jim Morrison was definately a character.

RetiredAt21 09-29-2006 09:18 PM

I'm planning to be pretty drugged out by the time I'm 23.

whiteminority 09-29-2006 10:15 PM

Justin, you are drugged out at 19.

RetiredAt21 09-29-2006 11:14 PM

I'm not even close. I've barely begun!
