Yup. I might argue my case if i ever get to the point of that. My school says i have to of submitted my final ideas by 17:00 on the 12/10/06, yet the exam board says i have to hand it in anytime on the 15th of february 2007.

I don't start manufacture until october 30th. so thats like, 17 days in which i could do that coursework nicely instead of being rushed off my face.

Which exam board did you do trys?

trysthedrummer 09-11-2006 01:36 PM

MM edexcel for quite a few of them, and AQA.

It might have been AQA for resitant materials, edexcel for music and stuff. There was one called OCR. Not sure which one for what subjects.

Josiah 09-11-2006 01:43 PM

You guys got some crazy school stuff over there...

trysthedrummer 09-11-2006 01:46 PM

Oh yeah it's crazy, well you get used to it. Glad I don't go there anymore.

maniac0796 09-11-2006 02:02 PM

Tis insane. Ruth kelley or whatever her name is needs to be shot and replaced with me.

Man, i'm voting conservative when i'm older for the sole reason that boris johnson is the education minister for the conservative party, and he is a ledgend

Janeway 09-11-2006 02:22 PM

This sucks.

My hip is absolutely killing me.I can't figure out any other reason why than because I sleep in a terrible position. But I can't sleep in any other position than on my stomach with my torso twisted on the side, and one arm flat and under my pillow. =/

How can you listen to this stuff day after day?

Ohh, on the 14th I get to vote for the first time. Some people moved to our town and complained that there was no christian school (though all the schools have programs for christianity if the parents want their child in it), and now the town is under enough pressure that they're having a vote on whether or not to build one.

It's going to put a bunch of local teachers out of work if it does go up. It's not looking good for stopping it, though, since I read that only 25% of the christian population needs to show up and vote in favor for them to have a majority.

maniac0796 09-11-2006 02:29 PM

Religion sucks. Will it be one of those creationist schools?

Janeway 09-11-2006 02:32 PM

Why would local teachers lose jobs?

Catholic schools are not public schools.

Win A Rabbit 09-11-2006 02:35 PM

Decreased number of students in public schools = decreased budget for school = decreased number of teachers.

Teachers not being christian = not being able to work at christian school.

Could you translate that for me?

Drum Phil 09-11-2006 02:40 PM

Our grade system goes from A* to Ungraded.

Anything below a C is considered a fail.

So i failed one of the 12 exams i took.

And i didnt revise at all.

Superman 09-11-2006 02:41 PM

I got an A in Music.

Woot!

Janeway 09-11-2006 02:42 PM

The tuition at a catholic school is more than it is at decent colleges.

Teachers at catholic schools do not need any specific qualifications, the quality of education is no different than in public school, sometimes worse, and you could probably gain a better knowledge/connection to God by not going to Wal-Mart churches with 15,000 people per sermon.

maniac0796 09-11-2006 03:04 PM

I've never understood the american school system.

Like, in britain, you go from reception, to primary school, to secondary school, to college, to university.

What order do you go in in america?

Kindergarten, elementry school, high school, college, uni?

Berk 09-11-2006 03:14 PM

Yeah.. But Elementary and Kindergarden are usually in the same school.

It can be different in different states, but where I live its kindergarten, elementary school (grades 1-5), middle school(grades 6-8), high school(9-12), ,college (which many people unfortunately do not or cannot attend), and then there's graduate level education.

maniac0796 09-11-2006 03:27 PM

Cool.

I'm watching a program about how they built one of the newest US submarines

I'd take CTTS over Saetia 8 or 9 times out of 10, but they're good every once in a while. Plus, I have a crush on CTTS. They make me happy.

Hot Cross too. They're super.

Corkofski 09-11-2006 03:30 PM

phil, you beet me at gcses

1a, 6b, 1c, 3d

Janeway 09-11-2006 03:33 PM

I like CTTS better, too. Kathy is great.
I haven't got any of their stuff on my new comp, though.

Billy's voice gets annoying quickly.

And the whole, "OMFUG PETA" thing with CTTS annoys me. =/

Drum Phil 09-11-2006 03:34 PM

I am actually fairly smart. I just didnt work at school or college.

I was predicted all A*'s

This day 5 years ago, millions of people died. In africa.

Nobody gave a shit.

Why should we support your wars over a few thousand people when you kill billions each year by holding a debt against them?

So i say, fuck this shit man. What the governments of the world are doing to the 3rd world is worse than what terrorists are doing to the west.

We starve their nation, they attack our embassy.

We bomb their country, they attack ours.

An eye for an eye.

If we make an effort to help these countries help themselves, and cancel their debts, 9/11 could have been avoided.

maniac0796 09-11-2006 04:00 PM

Guess what!?!?!

I can't be ****ed to post my opinion because i'm going to bed.

Nite MXDP.

Janeway 09-11-2006 04:06 PM

Oh yay.
Let's forget the innocent people who died for no fucking reason. It's their fault for the war. Infact, I think we should all pool our money together to travel around the country digging up each one of their graves, pissing in their rotting carcasses, and fucking the shit out of their pulpy skulls.

Just because you don't fucking agree with the way our government, of which we as individuals have very little control of, treats other countries doesn't mean you should be elated with the 3,000 people who died long, terrifying, painful deaths for no reason of their own just because they were western and you believe that an eye for an eye is a just system of law.

Berk 09-11-2006 04:17 PM

Oh snap.

Sunshine 09-11-2006 04:17 PM

It's about time my English teacher's plans blew up in his face.

Pretty much everything we do in class relies on the internet. We have to turn things IN on the internet, post on Blackboard on the internet, nothing by hand, no hard copies of anything.

And the internet didn't work in our room today, so he had to let us all out early because we couldn't do anything he planned.

Sucker.

Drum Phil 09-11-2006 04:19 PM

Did i say a thing like that?

You wanna talk about a slow painful death? Hows about kids who starve slowly to death because your government hoards the money with which their countries could buy equipment to grow food.

Dont preach at me because a few thousand people died in an attack. If you and your country didnt support it you could easily have changed it. I do not support terrorism in any way, nor do i support the way countries continue to strangle the life from each other.

I am in no way "elated" at the deaths of people, i also do not think they were as important as the world makes them out to be.

Alright so a huge symbol of greed collapsed. Whats that in comparison to entire countries dying because of what people like YOU do. The amount you throw away in a week could probably feed a family in africa for 2.
