Yeah, I have that exact GK head, and you want the low end with it, trust me. It's what it was made for. It's got a nice growl.

2x12 will put it to better use, unless you do what I did.

I got a 4x10, but I'm getting a 1x15 to go to the bottom to support the low end.

I think that would be a sweet setup. :p

The 4x12 will be SWR or maybe even homemade with eminence speakers... (any other good 4x12's?). If it's a 2x12, it's going to be eden.
All 10's, either 4x10 or 2x10 will be SWR (goliath)

Ride the lightning - I've decided i'm going to use my xmas money to buy new pups (see thread) then i'l buy a GK 1001. Then after that i'l save for/make a 4x12. If i bought the GK and SWR 4x12 together i'd save a bit though.. i'l see what happens. Might even take a loan out?

The GK is around $1600-1700 and the SWR is around $1600 (1800 retail). I make around $120 a week, plus i'l sell my current head for around $8-900 and a cab for $500.

How do you guys get so much rep? Do you get rep points for repping other people?
