its not as good as the first...but i was still scared :upset:

Graffito 04-02-2005 01:42 AM

the storyline's a bit weaker (cos it relies on the plot of the first) but there's a lot more twists. it's a lot scarier if you see it high as a beast.

imnotyourcrackwhore 04-02-2005 01:51 AM

America is seriously lacking good horror flicks. I heard George Ramero is coming out with something new soon though.

yeah i heard that too. another '...... of the dead'. should be pretty good. Romero's mad, he has the ability to change with the times and make horror to suit them. he's been around since god knows how long. new one will be pretty good i think.

I think it's called "Twilight of the Dead," but I'm not sure. But what I do remember is that the movie's being filmed in Canada. The plot is going to have something to do with a city surrounded by water and because of the isolation, the zombies haven't gotten them yet. But they can't get out either. After awhile, the zombies adapt and start to learn how to swim. It should be a real good one, I would think.

obese_breasts 04-02-2005 01:59 AM

Everyone, tell me good albums to download, I need new music for a 6 hour car ride tomorrow.

If you're expecting something original and amazing from a horror film then keep dreaming. It's all been done. Nothing left to do but give me cheap thrills.

haha sweet. ever since dawn of the dead i've wondered why they never got in the water. id always assumed they would just walk along the bottom. but yeah being trapped in that mall with the whole town of zombies around them just waiting to be taken was a freaky thing. it had some good parts in it that movie, i liked the re-release better than the original. i think its gonna be funny watching them in the process of learning to swim. they don't exactly look like aquatic creatures.

sketchyjoe 04-02-2005 02:04 AM

I hate horror films. They're boring.

Why don't you try to download the albums you don't have from the top 100 list?
If not, try Bigwig - Stay Asleep, Strung Out - An american paradox, Good Riddance - Operation Phoenix.

For the most part, it has. But that's like saying...there's no point in anticipating a good punk album because there's only so much you can do with punk.

Yeah. I mean, you'd think after several months of being dead, you would just rot to death...again. Don't they starve like living things too?

yeah but why not milk it for all it's worth. sooner or later everything good gets done to death. it just depends on how well you repeat what used to be.

Graffito 04-02-2005 02:13 AM

man, that is what i was thinking through the whole movie, why dont these people just wait on top until they all start rotting? they have nothing to eat, and obviously if their brains/organs aren't functioning their bodies will start rotting. whatever makes them tick would have to follow.
