That would be funny to see someones head come off from a cymbal.

derryk 04-28-2006 08:17 PM

Well you should start. (looking at people's dicks..)

That's why they made urinals. Trust me. (not being gay, but.. i don't even know anymore)

mysticalyeti 04-28-2006 08:17 PM

Not really, but I used to play frisbee with free AOL disks.

derryk 04-28-2006 08:18 PM

Those things hurt when they hit you!

fishbulb 04-28-2006 08:18 PM
Not really, but I used to play frisbee with free AOL disks.
What are you supposed to do with them?

And my friend did that with a blink 182 CD. Went a good 50 feet.

gastery6 04-28-2006 08:18 PM

Who hasn't?

mysticalyeti 04-28-2006 08:20 PM

Good point.

They hurt when they repeatedly hit concrete and shatter into shurikens as well..

fishbulb 04-28-2006 08:20 PM

Yum.

gastery6 04-28-2006 08:21 PM

I have no responce to that.

Double Bass Jim 04-28-2006 08:48 PM

I love this stuff

I like watching stupidity in front of me; it entertains me a great deal

It was a waste of time.

Drum Phil 04-28-2006 08:52 PM

Dammit i got drunk and forgot where i live :( Its taken me like half an hour to find my house :(
the Yamaha beaters are even better then the Danmars i was using :thumb:

these pedals are highly underrated, i strongly suggest checking out the Yamaha pedals over the ICs or the 5000/9000s.

obviously it will come down to personal preference and feel, but i am very very impressed

thx for the comps guys
Now you see why i rave about them so much? Theres not one thing i'd change about them mate. The beaters are like, my perfect beater :) A nice attack but still the right amount of Boom. Not that horrible slap you get with double sided felt beaters. When i first heard the sound i nearly fell off my throne. It was totally worth the problems i had gettin them.

Plan B. 04-28-2006 08:55 PM

I've always loved those round beaters since I saw the Steve Smith DVD (he has the best bass drum sound).

Those Yamaha beaters are killer, I'm in the market for a new double pedal too, but I want some werid cymbals first. I'm thinking Eliminators or the Flying Dragons, I kinda like small footboards.

Drum Phil 04-28-2006 08:56 PM

Oh yeah and i met Dick Valentine from the electric six.

And cocaberry, im not under 18. So there goes that witty logic.

Yeah those big round ones are the best man, I wanna get 2 for my pedals. I love how they produce that nice warm wuuummf!

Honostly know one needs this shit right now.

I think we're all sick of it, and no offence to you Phil.

But seirously guys. Can't we just grow up and move on?

Aaron 04-28-2006 09:03 PM

The Pit exists for a reason..

Double Bass Jim 04-28-2006 09:05 PM

Don't bother man

Trust me it doesnt work, you can play counsler all you want it does nothing. Like all retards and monkeys after you do something for so long you eventualy get bored.. it'll happen soon.

Aaron 04-28-2006 09:06 PM

hehe ~ forgot where you live ...LOL.

the Yamaha beaters are really good ~ they almost sound like wood beaters compared to my previous Danmars  this pedal is much louder than the TAMAs. (i didnt think that was possible)

at first i was worried about the short pedal plates, but i realized i actually like the shorter plates better than the longer TAMAs

...and the cloth pedal case that comes with it makes for a really great stick/spare parts bag too :thumb:

overall the Dragon DD pedals were a great reccomendation for anybody that read your review/comments ~thx!

Meh i was simply pointing it out. I tried to end the argument on several occasions but anyway.

Thats the last i have to say on the subject.

The club played like 3 of my favourite songs in a row :D

Dragonforce - Through the fire and the flames
Rise against - Give it all
Flogging molly - drunken lullabies

I may well have lost my voice
