I haven't had much look getting let to go, hence why I've never been to a punk show. Plus they are all in scuzzy downtown SF or Oakland, which aren't the nicest areas. I'm pretty much getting to this one because I have my own ride and I'll be 18 by then.

My parents are way chill with shows now that I can drive. I guess they just got sketched out with some random kids taking me downtown at late hours of the night when I have no control of what goes on in the car.

That's what I got when I asked about Ska is Dead. Mom was worried about them driving under the influence, or having weed and getting pulled over etc etc.

I really want to see Bane play with Comeback Kid but it's on the other side of London on a school night. It'd be like travelling across NYC at night but slightly less dangerous.
