Well, as some of you know two days ago they found my JOKE! hitlist and made a bigdeal about it and I got taken away int he cuffs lol. BUt ya, today was wicked, all my teachers were laughing at me and all the kids were asking me what happened (those who didn't know about my hitlist haha) but ya, now everyone hates that teacher (they all hated her in the first placee but now even more lol)

Was the teacher like REALLY young or older?

the Yamaha beaters are even better then the Danmars i was using :thumb:

these pedals are highly underrated, i strongly suggest checking out the Yamaha pedals over the ICs or the 5000/9000s.

obviously it will come down to personal preference and feel, but i am very very impressed :eek:

The construction is top notch as well as the hardware

To be quiet honest wood type has never made an impact to me at all. I've heard so many drums and there are many MANY other things that contribute to what you hear over what the shell is made out of.

You could have a shell made out of junk press board... Ensure the bearing edges are cut well, put it in an acoustically sound room, tune it perfectly and it's going to sound incredible. Everyone gets so caught up in those things when they really don't matter at all. The only time wood type makes a real difference is if your close micing. You'll hear subtle nuances but otherwise it doesn’t matter.

My export/forum set I bought this year sounds awsome! Got it second hand, I have kids use that one and I play on the conaway when I teach.
