So are Lifelover supposed to be really good or something? Their new album is trash.

I don't think they're too well received here at least. I've heard mixed reviews but I'm not hugely into crappy melodramatic synth-black metal or whatever it is they play

I finally downloaded that split between Triangulum and Tzalemoth (Northern Occultism) and am completely unsure as to whether or not I like it. It's completely droney and necrotic but it's little else. Yet I feel it's a grower. Has anyone else listened to it?

Konkurs was pretty good. But yeah Sjukdom sucks pretty hard. Debating 1.5 or 2 for a rating.

I never really thought of Lifelover much as a black metal band.

That being said, Konkurs is enjoyable for what it is. Haven't heard the new one.

eh it almost always takes a month or so for people to become acclimated to my personality.

I keep hearing great things about Konkurs but if it's in a similar vein to Sjukdom I think i'll steer clear.

Saw them live not too long ago, they ruled. I actually got to meet them once or twice and they are really nice guys. Have you heard their split with Woe? Great stuff.

Yeah, I got the 7" of that split, really good.

Godless Noise is still their best work imo.

Been giving this new Burzum try after try and it just can't like it. He needs to take a lot of time off and focus on making a good release.

I like it, but not anywhere as much as Belus.

Idk I just like 2 tracks off of it. The rest are just boring to me.

i really liked it the first day i listened to it, but after 3 or 4 listens. im done with it.

I've given it three listens so far, and while good, there's no particular song that stands out.

To me, there's nothing like Glemselens Elv from the last album. A song that really blew me away.
