Al Kooper is quite a good producer, but his fame came from fronting and playing guitar for Blood, Sweat & Tears.

As for BS&T, I heard some great stuff, but their album I bought (Supposedly their best) sucked.

i think Boston is a very underrated band. i have a few of there CDs. And Tom Scholz is a musical genius, and has an enormous amount of tone. anyone agree with me?

Their first album is great, the others aren't. We've summarized Boston up many times.

The best is to buy there album "Boston" and "Third Stage" IMO those to are there best work. if you buy a Greatest Hits CD, you miss out on a few decent songs.
