A local mod can delete every thread in their designated forum at the touch of a button.
*shrugs* All mods are trusted with a lot of power. That's one reason the selection process is taken seriously. |
I would hope so too! I would hate someone like me to end up modding. If I were in any position of authority, I think the bass forum would catch on fire...
...how an internet forum could catch on fire, I'm not sure, but I'm sure I could figure out how :D |

ESP, whats the max level and how long does it take to get there?

OH! That reminds me, I need to vent about my nazi and hypocritical school. First off, for those who don't know, I got to Central Pennsylvannia College for a bachelors in Cyber Security. I've recently been taking a class entitled Computer Hacking, where, you guessed it, we learn how to hack. We have this class in order to better secure our networks from these same techniques. CPC prides itself on learning hands on btw...
...so imagine our surprise today when the academic chair for the IT department comes in and repremands us for doing what we were told to do in class. It happened last week, we were learning how to enumerate and get into switchs and routers, so as a hands on project we were told by the teacher that we can go onto the school's network and look around. Thats it. So we did, the school's set up was fairly UN-secure has they still had DEFAULT PASSWORDS! This is the first rule to security, change your passwords! So we go in, look around, then someone gets the bright idea to change one of the switch names to "HACKED" and route all wireless traffic to a wired switch... So the chair explains this and tells us that pretty much everything, including the port scanning, linux installations, and other things we've done was actually a violation of the school's policy. Violating these policies is a grounds for dismissle. The teacher is not teaching next quarter, or at all probably. So much for hands on, eh? Its not like we had an isolated network to learn this either because the school gave those rooms to the networking people. They are setting up everything to do hands on work without the violations NEXT QUARTER! So basically we're getting in trouble for the internet security department not doing it's job and the IT department not doing it's job of planning out a proper curriculum and giving us adequate resources for learning. When I find out who changed those settings, he'd getting punched in the face.... |

60-65 (one of the two), I've been playing since it came out, and I'm level 19 and 16 with a paladin and warrior. It's easy to level if you balance 2 characters and utilize the rest system. |
At least it was fun while it lasted eh?

...I could be kicked out of college for running a port scanning utility I was told to use... ....so yeah I guess :thumb: |

Hows the PVP? and the PVM? edit-that sucks about your school btw, I want to learn to hack. Computers are definately the future of many aspects of life. If you are fluent with them you will do good :thumb: |
i know :D ...wana make out :p
:naughty:
Hows the PVP? and the PVM?
Excellent, even the normal servers have PVP :p They really make it like a war zone, where there are certain Contested Zones where PVP is automatically enables no matter what server you're on. They isolate those areas so you can't accidently stuble into them but they really capture the feel of warcraft with the raids and those zones. PVM or PVE as it's called in WoW is good too, AI isn't anything particularly bright from what I've seen, but it gets more intresting in later levels when your a human paladin fighting blackrock orcs or being undead and fighting humans! While I'm on it, if you have ever played any of the warcraft games, there is a lot of throwbacks to those games. It's especially great standing in the throne room of lordearon. :thumb: |
that sounds really cool, the only complaint i had about Knights of the Old Republic is that it wasnt MMORP
