My mom's seen Dylan, Bad Co. JAckson Browne, I think the Eagles and many many more

My Uncle saw Floyd twice  :amaze:

(ANimals, DSOTM)

Glitterati 07-05-2005 03:42 PM

My dad saw Roy Orbison a year before he died, and he met Johnny Cash when he worked at the border.

np: ZZ Top - La Grange. I love ZZ Top.
I don't know if anyone has already said this, because I'm too lazy to read the last 5 pages of the thread, but Cream was formed today in 1966.

Cool fact of the day.
No they formed July 16 in 1966.

Badmoon 07-05-2005 03:46 PM

Jackson Browne's a queer.

Glad to see your open to new things :p
Jackson Browne's a queer.
That's not very nice :(

Still, James Taylor is better.

He helped launch SRV's career, that's gotta count for something.

Badmoon 07-05-2005 03:52 PM
Still, James Taylor is better.
Actually...

James Taylor has the most annoying voice I've ever heard. While Browne helped Warren Zevon produce various albums. So...Browne > Taylor

I might be able to go see JAmes TAylor; should I?

TheDMV 07-05-2005 03:53 PM
He helped launch SRV's career, that's gotta count for something.
Not to mention the Eagles

magicbus 07-05-2005 03:54 PM

I also agree, Browne > Taylor. I'm not a big fan of Taylor. And I don't like his voice.

Illmatic 07-05-2005 03:56 PM

James Taylor is a wuss of epic proportions.

Glitterati 07-05-2005 03:58 PM
James Taylor is a wuss of epic proportions.
How is "You've Got A Friend" wussy?

Well, he managed to make millions off his dentist office hits.
Well, he managed to make millions off his dentist office hits.
My dentist is always playing "Brown Eyed Girl", but if I were a dentist I would probably play MMW or something of the like

Woodstock 07-05-2005 04:08 PM

Browned Eyed Girl is better than the constant stream of Kenny G.

Glitterati 07-05-2005 04:10 PM

If I were a dentist, I'd play some Stevie Wonder.

My dentist plays Celine Dion :upset:
Browned Eyed Girl is better than the constant stream of Kenny G.
Nothing makes me angrier than Kenny G. It's like they can't find something everyone likes, so they play stuff nobody likes.
They always play it on airplanes, I will have to watch out it tomorrow

ATM 07-05-2005 04:13 PM

Kenny G \m/

Woodstock 07-05-2005 04:13 PM

Last thing I want is for my dentist to fall asleep while giving me a root canal. :( Ow.

ATM 07-05-2005 04:14 PM

Have you guys head Hollies - King Midas In Reverse?

Walrus Gumboot 07-05-2005 04:15 PM

Does anyone have Rosemary (Grateful Dead) they can send me? It is kind of a sedative :) I am going to need to sleep on a plane tomorrow

Woodstock 07-05-2005 04:17 PM
Have you guys head Hollies - King Midas In Reverse?
Yes, good song. It's also covered on CSNY's 4 Way Street live album

ATM 07-05-2005 04:21 PM

I was just listening to some solo Ginger Baker stuff. It's...different.

TheDMV 07-05-2005 05:01 PM

That's a pretty cool site. I just wish it gave more info on te artists/ related artists.

Broken Arrow 07-05-2005 05:12 PM

Yeah like if it said how they were related.

Illmatic 07-05-2005 06:04 PM

OK, I take back what I said about The Byrds' cover of "Mr. Tambourine Man"

Last night I said that it wasn't as good as Bob Dylan's version.

Now I am convinced that it is one of the most boring songs I have ever heard.
