just because they arent the most talented bands in the genre doesnt mean they arent enjoyable listens.
i like a few tracks off malice, and i also like a few tracks off the game of life.
chances are there are several tracks off bad albums from "BAD" bands that you like too.

#1. TTEOTD isn't and never was deathcore
#2. before Malice came out TTEOTD was my favorite band, now i can't stand them (well i still listen to the old stuff all the time)
#3. the only time i heard AGATG was when my band played a show with them and they ****ing BLEW

I like To the Ruins and Dead End Roads. The vocals on the album are pretty bad though. They aren't deathcore, okay fine.
And I've heard that AGATG were bad live, and that's quite alright with me, because there are still a couple tracks off their debut that still bring me enjoyment.
Doesn't mean I'd go see them live.

The AGATG album isn't bad IMO.

AGATG are good, but can often get repetive. Their first album is also heavier and, for me at least, better.

I don't know. They sound like the perfect stereotype of the music. Just because a Deathcore band sucks doesn't mean that they aren't playing that particular style meaning it's still a representation of Deathcore. I listen to some of it like The Red Chord and Suicide Silence but overall it's just boring IMO.

If you had actually read my post instead of glancing at it then you would know that I do listen to The Red Chord. "Fused Together" is my favorite album of theirs.

i agree most of it is not innovative in any way and very boring, but there are some bands that do it justice

You thought I called The Red Chord boring? I used the term "overall" to mean most Deathcore bands. It wasn't referring to those guys or Suicide Silence. You're right, some bands do the genre justice but as a whole there aren't too many.

not too many anymore, its just become so oversaturated with sound alikes, which sucks, cause it happens in just about any subgenre

It is a decent album Pete, but its their worst IMO. Not that it's bad, it just doesn't grab me at all. This is their best lineup for live shows though, they are amazing!

Dr. Acula's new album is good, it's a lot of the songs from SLOB, but he doesn't do wierd things with his voice anymore, which bothers me. It still stands out among deathcore bands IMO.

As much as I hate the fact that I will be defending enc here, he speaks the truth. AW are pretty much the big name as far as this "blackcore" **** goes. Only difference is, they do it well, and everyone else fails trying to copy them.
