i am the robots 11-13-2007 04:27 AM

So I found out TTEOTD has Rich playing guitar for them during this tour, have they been playing any songs off Scars Of Ages with him?

Pluperfect_Arson 11-13-2007 11:24 AM

Txus 11-13-2007 12:13 PM

Nice avatar.

masscows 11-13-2007 03:07 PM

I just listened to 7 Angels 7 Plagues. It was good, but the vocals were ****ing grating as hell & kind of ruined it.

Tyler 11-13-2007 03:10 PM

The last half of Conduit is ****ing brilliant.

Concubine 11-13-2007 03:15 PM

best Converge song

they performing that song on their latest dvd is ****ing insane

i am the robots 11-13-2007 03:16 PM

How do Jake's vocals sound though?

Tyler 11-13-2007 03:18 PM

The Long Road Home? Or is a new one out?

Also, one of their genres on RYM is gothic.
How do Jake's vocals sound though?
If it's the Long Road Home, it's all over the map. It's not one set, it's a bunch of performances from different shows (tours, basement gigs, etc).

It basically depends how into it he is, how many crowd members on stage and how much blood there seems to be.

i am the robots 11-13-2007 03:18 PM

Well they do wear a lot of black.

Yeah, a buddy brought it in to school last year and we just sat in the student lounge and blasted it.

people who like Converge should check out Trap Them. They're on Deathwish too. Did you like it, Cocaine?

NemesisDivina 11-13-2007 03:24 PM

omg, now i feel bad... i almost bought that dvd a few weeks ago. now i wish i had >.<

Txus 11-13-2007 03:24 PM

It's elite, but some of the performances are really poor quality.

Still it's amazing seeing a crowd rush the stage during the band's INTRO SONG. Literally like 40 seconds into a set there's fans on stage, tipping amps and trying to steal the mics.

The EP was pretty solid. KInd of standard Deathwish stuff though, at least tone wise.

I hope it's still there next time I go back... I'll definitely pick it up, if just buying it for that isn't worth it then I don't know what is.

i could send you their full album that came out before the ep, its less technical and more grind-ish if you're interested

Tyler 11-13-2007 03:30 PM

That's what I'm told.

Not right now though, I've got way too much music as it is.

That show sounds better on the DVD, but the worst ones are a little worse than that, but they're also in basements.

RunAmokRampant 11-13-2007 03:50 PM

But this would have to be the best.

RetiredAt21 11-14-2007 10:13 AM

When Forever Comes Crashing.

Aakon_Keetreh 11-14-2007 10:16 AM

Botch - We are the romans
Prayer for cleansing - The rain in endless fall
The warriors - War is hell
Today is the day - kiss the pig

LifeInABox 11-14-2007 04:37 PM

Converge - Petitioning The Empty Sky
Botch - We Are The Romans
Poison The Well - The Opposite Of December
Buried Inside - Chronoclast

There's more good metalcore than those bands.

LifeInABox 11-14-2007 04:41 PM
