It's pretty wild. There are many times where they really utilize both drummers, makes you go
Well thats enough reason for me to buy it. I have a bit of a drum obsession. Probably wont get my hands on it for a month or two though.

Aerodyne 10-10-2006 03:24 PM

Well, I'm back from the dentist. And I can't feel the right side of my head. The man does good work. He gave me a white filling and shaped it like a tooth. :amaze: Can't even tell anything was done. :thumb:

Thank you. I showered this morning.

BenJammin 10-10-2006 03:27 PM

I really need a new picture for my myspace page. I don't even have a beard or hair anywhere near that long anymore.
I think it would be dumb.

I mean, really... let's just make the most impossible instrument to play.
If it was lined I think that it would be quite easy.

But then it's just the same as a lined fretless. If it's fanned and unlined, which I'm sure is what was meant, it's just ridiculous.

Evening peeps.

Some say that a fanned style is easier to play, and to me that makes sense. After all your fingers get closer together as you move onto higher strings.

Yeah but they mean an unlined fanned fretless. Its just unreasonable. Unless your like, Michael Manring.

IMO a regular unlined fretless is just as unreasonable. You would play any unlined fretless by ear, why would it being multiscale make it any more difficult?

BenJammin 10-10-2006 03:52 PM

ATTN lowsound: you don't need to argue everything.

Wintermute 10-10-2006 03:52 PM

Because I can tell the angle of a vertical line. I know instinctively where the notes are. And if I have one not for certain, I can count on the notes vertically above or below it being in the right place too.

Muscle memory, and nice regular lines.

Because of logic. Think logicly.

I have no idea why it does it either..

tim_commerfordism 10-10-2006 04:32 PM

hey all.

anyone got a tab of Day of the Baphomets by The Mars Volta?

Thonk 10-10-2006 04:35 PM

Can't say that I do.

Akira 10-10-2006 04:38 PM

Nope.

Practicing tapping feels so rewarding. Usually practicing for me is just a matter of speed and uniformity of sound. It's cool to perfect a piece like that, but it is sort of boring. This is awesome, because I have never really trained hand independence, so I am learning an actual new skill. Plus being able to harmonize with yourself is awesome.

Efrim 10-10-2006 05:29 PM

Hello.

Thonk 10-10-2006 05:30 PM

What's up Jesse?

Efrim 10-10-2006 05:31 PM

Not much, enjoying some chips is all.

Efrim 10-10-2006 05:39 PM

So....are you all dead, or just contemplating life right now?

Spaceman Spiff 10-10-2006 05:42 PM

I had lasagna and salad for dinner. Quite good, I must say.

Efrim 10-10-2006 05:43 PM

I'm still looking forward to dinner.

Moon Flavor 10-10-2006 05:44 PM
