cause no one gives a flying **** about anyone else in the band.
How Brokeback Mountain of them. Rotten had some sexy vocals, but all Sid did was die like a caboose.

skavid 01-25-2006 09:01 PM
Stencil?

P.S. Why does everyone think Sid was the lead singer?!?
He was "shock value." And he could barely hold a bass, much less play it.
cause no one gives a flying **** about anyone else in the band.
True.

mookie91 01-25-2006 09:18 PM
Yeah, true.

I just realized something. Every Sex Pistols shirt I've seen has Sid Vicious on it. So to piss people off, I'm gonna make a Johnny Rotten shirt out of this picture
That would be a cool shirt post pics when ever you finish it.

Where is a good place to get some boots. They just built a harley shop here and they have some boots their. I checked out all the local good will shops and nothing but old sketchers and other shoes like that. Any ideas?

yourstruly 01-26-2006 01:33 AM

I gonna bleach the middle(the part sticking up)of my mohawk. And was wondering If anyone can tell me the best way of doing this without screwing it up or getting bleach on other parts of my hair?

These are pretty expensive but fu'ck me if they don't look awesome:

http://www.ethicalwares.com/range.htm

These guys are a lot cheaper. They don't have a lot of boots, but the ones they do have look kickarse and cost 50 quid. It says here that the steel toe cap can resist a force of 300 joules. That's like a bullet I think. Well, I know my old BB gun was 2.5 joules or something like that:

http://www.musonix.demon.co.uk/veganline/index.htm

Even cheaper:

http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/

Enjoy dude.

mookie91 01-26-2006 07:46 AM

I think I might just get them at the harley shop. It would cost the same amount for those boots all together to get them shipped here. And I could just go and walk in the store and get these.

Here are the ones I was thinking of getting.

True, but the links I posted are all for "vegan" boots. They're guaranteed fair trade and fair treatment of the workers. But then again some people don't really care about that.

mookie91 01-26-2006 09:37 AM

Well I looked them up and I didn't see anything bad about them. They are always helping people out and donating to things and stuff.

Depends on how long it is. Gel should do if it's not too long though.

Liebensaft 01-26-2006 06:26 PM

Dood, get a fauxhawk.

I was thinking about making something like that. I was gonna make "Mc****" though.

Sebek 01-26-2006 11:42 PM

I spent a good half-hour doing one of my first sew jobs in awhile last night on one of my favorite pairs of pants last night.

Turns out when I tried them on this morning they don't fit anymore anyway. :(

Jessizzle 01-27-2006 08:54 AM

My daddy shurnk my most favourite pants from hot topic. so now theyre too short, so im gonna get plaid and make them longer. it will be sweet.

Liebensaft 01-27-2006 10:02 AM

Neo-mall rat, caught in the Hot Topic trap. Spend your allowance on an anarchy hat. That you can take off when you're home with your mom, but with your punk friends you can put back on. You expect me to care that you dyed your hair. Do you think that makes you a rebel compared to any other fashion follower? I'm afraid you're still a TRENDY MOTHERFUCKER!

Biscuit_box 01-27-2006 10:40 AM
How could I spike my hair?
Best way I can do it is (my hair when spiked is like the singer out of the casualties) I back comb my hair (for extra support) gel it really well, hold it, blow dry it, then spray it with loads of hair spray, blow dry it. It takes a good while to do but it'll stay up all day, even the next day if you don't sleep and bend them.

coheneran 01-27-2006 10:44 AM

What also works well is hairwax. It's stronger than gel and works until you wash it out, so that if the spikes bend you can straighten them again. The downer of it is that it takes some effort to wash out, but a tub of it lasts longer than a tub of gel.

Abandon all hope 01-27-2006 12:03 PM

Ehh. Use elmers glue. It's abundant, and if you don't clean it off your hands, you look like yer molting. Like a snake!

Jon 01-28-2006 09:15 AM

I wonder if I could use PVA (Elmers) to glam up my hair =o

At the moment I just backcomb it to shit and empty a can of extra-strength hairspray. Then straighten the front and sides just a little bit.

Hmm.

asdf 01-28-2006 11:09 AM

I've always wondered if there was a way to spike my hair, even though it's curley and over 2 feet long.

If I found some hair product that could do it, though, I would just for the hell of it.

Liquid nitrogen would probably do the trick. However, your hair would probably break off when it hit something.

i have a small hole in the tube of my bike. any of you bike punks know a way to close the hole. i dont have the cash to buy a new one.

Liebensaft 01-28-2006 11:33 AM

Patch it. Or buy a new one. Tubes are like $5.

Oh, I totally misunderstood the question.

You can buy patches at a bike repair shop for probably really cheap. You could also buy a new tube.

I've had my bike for almost 3 years and have yet to have a hole or a leak because my bike tube came filled with this slime material that is supposed to prevent holes. So far so good.

DaveToopes 01-28-2006 12:59 PM

New tubes aren't that expensive, and they'll usually put them on for you no charge.

It's the guitarist from the Circle Jerks. I chose him because he looks alot like me , and nobody will recognize him and say "Oh, circle jerks!", I want it to just be a rock n' roll shirt, ya dig?

conniption 01-28-2006 10:41 PM

I have these Minor Threat, Fugazi, Embrace, and Ian Mackaye stencils that I made about 4 months ago. I was going to make shirt with them but I have yet to buy the paint. My friend has some fabric paint, it should work. I'll post a picture once I actually do it.

(r)evolution 01-28-2006 10:56 PM

post the stencils up here

Oh, ok. Yeah, I remember his face now. I have some videos of them.

coheneran 01-29-2006 10:34 AM

I want to make a shirt that says Human on the back in big letters, and on the front it has a picture of loads of people (fifty or so) holding hands or with their arms around each other, their backs to the camera, with all of them wearing shirts that say Human in different colours. It came to me last night when I was at a benefit to raise money for an emergency ambulance service in Tamil Tiger territory (they got almost no aid, because they are "terrorists") and there was photography, one of the photos was of a man naked from the wasit up, very thin, with the word Human written in big bold white letters on his chest. It was very moving.
