What's Fuse's Daily Download?? And you talked to him and stuff??
yup. all i could mouth out was "Damaged is one of the best cds ever." i am never starstruck, but i certainly was with Rollins.
In today's edition of Buddy's Time Machine:
I never said that!
Did I ever tell you the time I sucked a black man's penis?

No, gross.

It's true, I did.
And the hardcore/metalcore education once again reigns at the top of the page (Stickied like what).

cbmartinez 11-24-2004 12:45 PM

Whoa, Shane left.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-24-2004 01:38 PM

I was listening to If Looks Could Kill I'd Watch You Die and I realized it's alot better than the other 2 DBS CD's.

cbmartinez 11-24-2004 01:46 PM

Really? Damn, I need to get some more DBS. All I have is Into The Valley Of Death, which is magnificent. If If Looks Could Could Kill... is better, I definitely need to pick it up.

Raised Fist, hardcore or metalcore?

Let's Chop Cats! 11-24-2004 01:48 PM

I've always liked the 2 newer Cd's better, but for some reason I find myself listening to If Looks.... now.

Hardcore.

I haven't been home lately, plus I see you're from NZ so I'm asleep when you're awake. Keep checking in the next couple days from time to time.

cbmartinez 11-24-2004 02:44 PM

I'm doing my review for Rise Of New Reason and I have a few questions:

1. Is The Procedure an edge band? I know some of their lyrics focus around edge issues.
2. In the booklet for Thursday's Waiting, it says additional guitar was played by Frank. Perhaps I'm assuming too much, but is it possible that he is the Frank Fenimore, gutiarist of The Procedure? Perhaps Bill and him were friends at the time and he let him play on the album?

I've been listening to Dedication a lot lately. So repetative. So good.

cbmartinez 11-24-2004 02:53 PM

Yeah, I love that CD.

1. Some of the members are edge I believe, but I'm not sure if they claimed to be an edge band.

2. I never looked into the booklet for that album, but it's safe to assume they're one in the same.

I still need that, I heard Looking Out For #1 and it's one the best songs they have.

A-Life-Less-Plagued 11-24-2004 07:52 PM

What do Vision of Disorder fit under?

SILVERTRIX 11-25-2004 01:44 PM

Check out Called to Arms

cbmartinez 11-25-2004 02:10 PM

Sk8Ska, does Bill play lead or rhthym?

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 02:11 PM

Lead.

cbmartinez 11-25-2004 02:12 PM

Thought so, thanks.

So he's doing those little trills and doing the backing screams during the chorus of "For Janus?"

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 02:14 PM

Most likely, I'm to lazy to check out my DVD, but odds are it's him.

cbmartinez 11-25-2004 02:15 PM

Awesome. Thanks. Can you order the DVD?

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 02:16 PM

Talk to Bill. I don't know if he has any left. If your lucky he might make you another one if he's out.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 02:18 PM

It was like 8 bucks then like 1 for shipping I think. It's on 2 DVD's, 1st DVD is Marathon, Ensign and 1 Procedure song and the 2nd DVD is Crime In Stereo and The Procedure.

victimofreality 11-25-2004 02:33 PM

What should I say to people who say that say there is no genre that is just hardcore? They say what I consider hardcore is Hardcore Punk, and that there is no one genre called hardcore, but a hardcore sub genre for punk, metal, etc..

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 02:35 PM

Well it is a subgenre of punk, and punk is a subgenre of Rock and rock is a subgenre of music.

Tell them that.

shane italian 11-25-2004 02:54 PM

Leaving is hard. I decided I'll stay awhile since the thread is back. But one day I will simply stop posting.

:upset:

This thread would pretty much die and I don't know what I would do without this thread.

403 posts what?

shane italian 11-25-2004 03:07 PM

I would leave without this thread. It's the only thing that REALLY interests me.

cbmartinez 11-25-2004 03:12 PM

The punk forum in particular is becoming a joke. Their are like 12 cool people still around and the rest are idiotic noobs.

Let's Chop Cats! 11-25-2004 04:08 PM

Shane if you haven't noticed, this is the only place I post seriously. Aside from the Video Game forum.

Finally, it's done.

BuddyBigsby 11-25-2004 05:58 PM

This thread is probably the only reason I'm really still around, too. Way too many stupid kids are on these forums, ESPECIALLY in Rock and Metal.

cbmartinez 11-25-2004 06:22 PM

I don't even bother with Rock and Metal. I've only posted in there like 10 times, but every time I did, there seemed to be plenty of idiotic noobs and arrogant "regulars."

Gotkookie 11-25-2004 06:23 PM

agreed
