New video.
Weird yet cool. http://www.forums.cobaltandcalcium.com/showthread.php?t=27085 |
hmmm it's a home-made one tho....still pretty cool.
October 31st!!!! can't wait! |
Still, home made by the band.
|
Man, Coheed is gonna be in Edmonton on the 15th.
I wish I still lived there. :( |
does anyone have link for INFERNO?
|
the band is really good. I'm one of those people that don't like songs that go ove 5:30 min, so that would be the only let down.... i like some long songs but mainly they get boring
|
Yeah I agree, sometimes they get a bit lengthy.
|
Link for PFI is in the PPDU.
I'm really getting into it now. It's a nice break from the heavier of Coheed's sound, and it's very slowed paced. Also lots of really good music on there too, a lot of the songs feel very imaginative and fresh to listen to. I'm impressed. |
Dear Friends,
It is a very special day for me, The Prize Fighter Inferno’s “My Brother’s Blood Machine” is in stores today! This record has been a long time coming, it encompasses about 8 years of ideas, mostly just me messing around in my free time that turned into something I’m really proud of. Coheed and Cambria’s new DVD “The Last Supper: Live at the Hammerstein Ballroom” is also in stores today! This was recorded on the last stop of this year’s spring tour, in New York City. Coming home to NY is always a good time for us, and we feel privileged to have captured those moments in our lives that we’ll now have forever to share with all of you! We hope that you will go and check both of these releases out, and please leave us comments and let us know what you think! -Claudio
From PFI Myspace. Coolio. Might buy it if I like after I listen to it from ppdu. |
coheed is still wicked! the acoustic version of favor house on their myspace made me all warm inside

Apparently Mic and Josh have left the band permenantly now. |
...I felt there were creative differences to some degree most of the time, especially with In Keeping Secrets and Good Apollo...
So basically Claudio and Travis are proggy tools that decided to screw up the masterpiece sound of SSTB. |
basically yeah. what ever i still like everything by them. it just bums me out.
|
The departure of Micheal and Josh solidifies my decision to stop caring about this band.
Although I never really cared for Josh's drumming. |
Haha, my thoughts exactly.
|
sigh, guess what, i can't find neither the last supper nor PFI in my local stores.
why are they such idiots? They brought in Good Apollo but not The Last Supper. |
the last supper is wild! I can't wait to see them live again
|
this song has been on the net for awhile now but their new song, Mother Superior is seriously awesome.
i dled it from the cobalt forums altho it's acoustic live it still sounds really really good. |

Apparently Mic and Josh have left the band permenantly now.
yeh thats really reallllly bad news :( mics bass tone and style compliments the drumming, and they both fit with the guitar style perfectly.. i know theres a lot of elitist 'individuals' that think sstb was the only good album, but u get those ppl with all bands (fans thinking they are old school etc)... the past 3 albums were all amazing... dunno if theyll be any good at all without mic and josh :( |
All GA really was was guitar. It's a lot harder to get into than the other 2 imo.
Welcome Home raped for quite a while. |
I was listening to Good Apollo today, omg sex
|
the last supper is orgasmical
|
Hah, I love the last 4 tracks. Cheesy modern prog :p
|
Proooooooooog, hey shut up about prog, it is teh winnah.
|
What do you call music from the Czech Republic?
Prague Rock. |
Hahaha, that's awesome Cob.
Anyways, any news on when GA Vol II is gonna start recording? And is the PFI album worth getting? |
I'm anxious for Vol II. I didnt actually think Vol I was all that bad, and hopefully they put out a SSTB performance for this one.
|
I just hope it's not as overproduced, and incorporates the whole band more rather than just a lot of guitar.
Vol I was nice in chunks. I kinda had to force myself to listen all the way through. Strong start, strong ending, but the middle only had a few solid songs. |
The middle was yeah, a little bit...Meh. But like you say, I really enjoyed the start and finnish. Best track: Welcome Home
|
Hmm, I really liked the acoustics, and the Apollo tracks were neat.
Welcome Home and Final Cut were the most epic, and the Willing Wells were a really nice string of songs. I don't really have a favorite. Suffering was fun too. |
