Sorry to intrude.... but R.A. Salvatore kicks ***... you guys like Dragonlance?

Permanent Solution 11-08-2004 08:12 PM

I like D&D, but we only played it occasionally, we never got into it enough in my group of friends. Great game though.

Riva 11-08-2004 08:13 PM

Found it. Girl Of Xeventeen. The one I had heard before. They are pretty good, if a bit unique. Do you want me to send you some?

Kingofdudes 11-08-2004 08:31 PM
Oh yea, congrats Bartender and numbers
Thanks. And we can have another posting party, if you wish, and if you can come up with some line of conversation. I just went out for a walk for a while.

Riva 11-08-2004 09:22 PM

Hey Bartender. I'm on AIM if you wanna get those songs now.

/waits for KoD to come up with a new topic for the next posting party.

Paranoidd 11-08-2004 09:25 PM

Somebody was listening to The Cult?

They're an awesome band...it may surprise you, but I have all their albums. Billy Duffy was an amazing guitar player/songwriter, as far as I'm concerned.

Riva 11-08-2004 09:29 PM

Yeah, I love The Cult. Of course, I am stcuk in an '80s time warp right now.

Puts on Fire Woman to please Paranoidd. :thumb:

Cipher Hour 11-08-2004 09:30 PM

Ooh! Put on some Scorpions next while you're in your 80's time warp.

Bartender 11-08-2004 09:30 PM

^I never found The Cult to be all that great. I'm reasonably familiar with them though, since my sister is quite the fan.
Ooh! Put on some Scorpions next while you're in your 80's time warp.
Ah, now there's a quality 80's band.

Kingofdudes 11-08-2004 09:53 PM

/me is listening to Comfortably Numb(on Pulse)

The Pulse version has THE best solo in it, ever!

So yeah, paycheck tomorrow, so many Cds to buy.

I shall be ordering something from:
Emperor
Darkthrone
Cryptopsy
Carcass

I will most likely order
Roger Waters - In the Flesh
Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii
Pink Floyd - The Division Bell

Might order
MOJO - Pink Floyd edition

any other recomendations?

Permanent Solution 11-08-2004 10:08 PM

Def get Division Bell, great album.

Kingofdudes 11-08-2004 10:09 PM

Emperor, and Carcass would be my best bet to get stuff from. Carcass : Swangsong, if you don't have it yet. Emperor : Anthems to the Welkin at Dust, a classic album must get if you don't have it.

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell is a great album, more just softer rock like a Momentary Lapse Of Reason, but still great none the less.

Riva 11-08-2004 10:21 PM

Richard Wright - Broken China and Wet Dreams

Wet Dreams is mainly on vinyl though, cos it was released in the '70s.

Gmail doesn't work for me. :(

Kingofdudes 11-08-2004 10:22 PM

You need an invite, and I cant invite anyone on any of my computers for some reason :(

Bartender 11-08-2004 10:23 PM

I'd go with Heartwork or Necroticism before Swansong, for Carcass.

Kingofdudes 11-08-2004 10:24 PM

I was thinking of getting Heartwork, I have heard good things about it.

Permanent Solution 11-08-2004 10:26 PM

How do I invite him?

Bartender 11-08-2004 10:26 PM
I was thinking of getting Heartwork, I have heard good things about it.
I would say Heartwork is their "classic" album, but for Carcass, practically every album was a classic album, just mostly in different styles.

Riva - I'll try sending you an invite, if I can.
