BIG *** UPDATE from Team Fingerblast. . .

Hey folks, yes we know it's been a long time since anything's happened on this site. Time for an update. . .

Fresh back from the Brutal Truth reunion show this weekend in Chicago, which will probably be be the last show we play this year except for possibly playing a show to be part of the Toetag Picture's film August Underground's Penance (more on this when we know). It was a killer time playing with BT and the rest of the bands (Minsk, Plague Bringer). We certainly might not even be a band without BT.

speaking of Toetag. . . I just completed the score for their film REDSIN TOWER, on which I collaborated with Zombi's Steve Moore. The movie is a ****ing exhausting and brutal. Should be a classic. This is totally seperate from the Zombi Destroyer project that we were going to work on together, which will probably happen next year sometime. No rush on these things. They have to come out right. . .

We put the 7" single's series on hold until we complete the new full length this December. JR's already working on artwork wth John Baisley from Baroness.

Furthermore this site will likely idle down to archive mode until we start gearing up around the release of the new full length. But you're already used to no updates.

NEW BANDMATE: Please welcome Blake Harrison to the band. Yup you read it right, PD is now a 4 piece, and Blake is going to be running samples and noise live and on recordings. He's currently also in Baltmore rockers Triac and Hatebeek. He's a member of Team Fingerblast and will be updating the site, handling the web store (because we apparently can't get it together on our own). He'll be PD's mouthpiece. He's also the dude behind the the myspace page (I don't know what the hell it is right now). Personal interests: cigarettes, fingerbanging, drinking. . .

So, once again, no major facelifts or anything for this site until we close in on completing the new disc. Rest assured we're trying to burn out the carbon deposits an get this new ****er out to you by spring. And next year we'll definitely be hitting places we've never been.

AIRIC 09-16-2006 02:01 PM

What's the best Pig Destroyer LP?

RetiredAt21 09-16-2006 02:37 PM

whiteminority 09-16-2006 03:30 PM

Prowler in the Yard
or
Explosions in Ward 6.

AIRIC 09-18-2006 06:56 PM

I really love Tragedy now for some reason. The s/t rules.

Do you guys like Axegrinder?

I love Rise Of The Serpentmen, but I thought it was their only release so I'm getting Grind The Enemy right now.

RetiredAt21 09-18-2006 08:47 PM

Axegrinder is cool. I haven't listened to them a whole lot, but what I've heard was pretty good.

AIRIC 09-18-2006 08:49 PM

Okay.

How about Godstomper?

I love their splits. They do splits with such awesome bands like Magrudergrind and Rorscharche. And Saturday Morning Powerviolence is amazing.

AIRIC 09-18-2006 09:16 PM

guys my vote for best intro in all of music goes to tragedy - point of no return

Times Ten 09-18-2006 09:58 PM

Tragedy have some of the best intros ever. I really like this one, but I don't know the name of the song.

Subvert_bassist 09-21-2006 08:12 PM

Ah, someone else that likes Graves At Sea. Dude, they rule. Ben was right, though. Doing a top ten album list would be much too hard.

whiteminority 09-21-2006 08:38 PM

Justin, you understand me.

You complete me.

Dude, I thought I was the only one here who knew who they were. I mentioned them awhile back, and no one knew them. But yeah, they played in Berkeley, and the power went off in everything but Nathan's mic, and he was talking in like tongues for hella long. The bassist eventually had to grab him and yell, "Shut the **** up!" That guy is nuts.

RetiredAt21 09-21-2006 10:20 PM

Yeah, man. Graves At Sea is so good. They have a sound all their own (sorta).

Subvert_bassist 09-22-2006 05:16 PM

Yeah, they do; it's Nathan's crazy ****in' vocals that give it that sound.

RetiredAt21 09-22-2006 10:24 PM

He reminds me of Dani Filth sometimes.

whiteminority 09-22-2006 10:25 PM

Ewwwwwwww.

RetiredAt21 09-22-2006 10:39 PM

I know, I know. But seriously, Graves At Sea rule. They are so good.

Gnarmageddon 09-23-2006 04:19 PM

Someone send me some Kylesa over AIM.

They have two drummers.
