Fear Before the March of Flames, say they're from Colorado, hey I live in Colorado, and yes they are one of the best, that's some crazy guitar, but the best hardcore band has got to be Converge.
Converge is metalcore if I am not mistaken |
has anyone heard of self defense here?
|
Have you guys heard of either Scars of Tommorow or Fear Before the March of Flames?
I've seen Scars of Tomorrow twice...neither time was i planning on seeing them...i only saw em cause they played with bands i did want to see, Comback Kid and Figure Four....never been too fond of SoT... |
By the way, American Nightmare, no longer exists. Just Kidding they go by the name Give Up the Ghost now, they're good.
Sorry son, GUTG broke up just this summer. |

|
Ive heard people consider Converge "Noisecore"
HAHA, no. |
I dont even know what Noisecore is
|
so, what's everybodies favorite stabcore band?
|
Stabcore?
|
yeah, stabcore was started in the mid 80's in Salt Lake City by Khamanza, one of the greatest bands ever.
they spawned a lot of similar bands and started the stabcore movement which continued until the early 90's. Guns 'n Roses was very stabcore influenced. |
I think you're just making things up now
|
nah, it's true. look it up.
everybody knows who Khamanza is. |
I prefer DRACULACORE.
Are you still doing that? |
Draculacore is too metal-ish for me.
|
they hurt my ears in one of the songs. Its wierd, it makes a snow noise.

READ UP CB!
Poison the Well/Halloween highlights: Work (Just because): - some Asian lady coming to be ringed up and exclaiming "Oh! I thought you were a lady." - Lady arguing with my friend that something was $1.99. It was $6.61, she was reading it upside down and ignoring the decimal point. - Me pwning some lady that tried to put a $1.25 price tag from a cheaper item onto an item that was part of a set. Idiot took it out of the set and slapped the tag on there. It amazes me how people think I can just scan a price. I need a barcode. Poison the Well: - I dressed up as a Mexican wrestler, and named myself El Malo. I had tights on, which resulted in me getting hit on and hooted at. Amazing, I don't think I've ever been hit on in my life before. I'm going to do this on a regular basis. - Moshing it up as El Malo - Sadly, curlupanddie sucked - PTW were awesome. WAY better than February. They made the set list a whole lot stronger, not just with song choices but with order. It was perfect. - New guitarist rules. They played an intro, which I think they may have written with him. I don't know if this is any indicator of what the new album will sound like, but said intro was very southern classic rock inspired (think Lynrd Skynrd)... weird, I know. It was really good though, even though it was just instrumental. - Putting aside my grudges and uniting with scenesters to drive away the jock pit - Starting to preach to a nearly 7 ft. tall guy I thought was push pitting, only for him to go "Hey bro, I know what kind of a show it is" and show me his Security shirt. I apologized and gave him a big fat hug. After work: - I stopped to get gas after I dropped my friend off, which is in a weird area. Some Mexican guy in a cowboy hat dealy comes up to me and starts gibbering in Spanish, even after I say "Uh... No espanol. Sorry". He kept saying "Fontana" and "Pomona", which are cities around here, so I think he wanted a ride. I told him no for the obvious reasons, and he told me "Ey, you help me, I help you". I was wearing my tights at the time. I do not want to know what he meant by that. |
i love you dude
I dont even know what Noisecore is
noisecore is stupid and shouldn't be a genre. most of the bands fit into some other category. |

noisecore is like grindcore but, as the name suggests more noisey and crazy eg converge |
Converge is Metalcore with other various influences. There is no need for the genre or noisecore. Noise I understand, but no not noisecore.
