Woo hoo. Someones high. I'm happy for you, makes everything more interesting.
I'm still not impressed  |
Come on you know being high would make this more interesting. What are you out to get me for?
|
Sure does. Especially to come home and find me parents still awake. Not good when they look me in the eye haha.
|
Man created alcohol.
God created marijuana, and mushrooms. 'nuff said. |

Haha that sucks. Bust out the clear eyes eye drops. |
Can't do eyedrops...I have inherent fear of being poked in the eyes. Can't even get a proper eye exam. My eyes won't stay open.

Then hide in a dark place.

best classic rock bands:
van halen the who led zeppelin black sabbath motley crue dont no if u actually will count these ones: sex pistols dead kennedys ramones clash |
Sex Pistols are great.
|
im dissapointed that black sabbath wasnt mentioned more often, ill admit that there are better classic rock bands like zep, van halen and especially Pink floyd.
-the trial rules!! w00t! |
h'ok.
Black Sabbath - More 'classic metal' Motley Crue - Hair Metal Sex Pistols - Punk Dead Kennedys - Punk Ramones - Punk Clash - Punk Musically, although the four punk bands above are all 'classic punk', They CANNOT compare in terms of musicianship to CR. Seriouly, 1/2 that stuff is power chords. And the Ramones? Come on. DKs are semi-ok, but Jellos voice drives me crazy. The pistols are a great band for attitude and the clash are probably the best 'tr00 punk attitude' band on that list. *puff* Just clearing things up. DVG. |
Rnr, im having trouble with file sizes, but im doing me best, give it some time *struggles with Photoshop* anyone know how to decrease file size?
DVG. |
Here's a debate. What should I put for the genre of my review of Chuck Berry's greatest hits? I was thinking maybe Influential 50's rock. Any suggestions?
|
i dunno  but sweet avator
|
well at least some of us have our heads on straight. it's a start. i'm wanna see some band come along and revitalize the classic rock style...
Jet is sort of there. |
Video killed the radio star.
Nobody wants to watch Jerry Garcias pale hippy arse waddling around when they could see Amy Lee. Not to knock Jerry, his pale hippie arse made some great tunes. :D
lol |

DVG.
Take your time.
Jet is sort of there.
No, just no. They're crappy music and are making all of the mainstream kiddies think that their sound is what classic rock is. It aint good for a revival. It's just poser music (I don't like the word poser but that's what it is). |
Anyone else think Jeff Beck is better than Jimmy page???
|
I don't know. My brain doesn't feel like deciding. :)
|
jeff beck is cool, hi-ho siver linning, what a song, the main song for Wolves FC, so my favourite song.
|
Classic Rock forever. Who here likes Steve Miller Band?
Yeah USA Today did an article on this topic I remember. |
Anyone else think Jeff Beck is better than Jimmy page???
No. |
Jeff Beck is very cool, but Jimi Hendrix was this mastermind that no one could comprehend. He was so great. Ozzy Osbourne thought he was fake or something when he first saw him play.
Ooops. I thought you said Jimi Hendrix. But w/e. They're very different you know... Robert Plant's b-day today, as heard on KROQ |
Happy b-day to Robert Plant. The original Mick Jagger clone ;)
|
Who here likes Steve Miller Band?
I love the steve miller band And how was robert plant a mick jagger clone? they had totally different styles IMO |
Solo Jeff Beck.............. great
Solo Jimmy page...........horrible Truth has been spoken!!!!!!!!!! |
At my school there was this big AC/DC movement which everyone was singing Back and Black and stuff, Which actually is sad since kids started forming bands and playing AC/DC songs with 5 guitarists and no bass  , after one of their jam sessions I HATED AC/DC, but I've recovered and am back to loving AC/DC :thumb:

Can they play the solos though? Ac/dc is the number one classic rock gateway band. Everybody's going to love them and get into classic rock. Maybe a little Zeppelin and a few other hard rockish bands but also have some light stuff and they're hooked. Then they get into lighter rock but not really light like The rolling stones and CSNY. Then onto stuff like the grateful dead and The Doors, then onto folkish stuff, prog and pure blues. But it all starts with that hard rock ac/dc sound. |
