Austin you're not a dumb kid, you can't honestly listen to this and be like "FUCK YES BLACK METAL". It sounds like some guy got loose on some cheap keyboards and happened to come up with a not so bad yet still very meh melodic progression.

yeah it was very thin and weak sounding man, i'd just do away with the static entirely. and like he said the chord progression isn't bad at all but the sound you're using is kinda cheap sounding (casio-like) and makes it very un-blackmetal-like.

trying to layer in all the guitar tracks seperately this time and not adding a shit load of reverb.

well i did that for a while but it was an immense pain in the ass

the thing I disliked most is that some songs just wouldn't appear at all, it was very temperamental

I just use the time that I'm listening to music to do it all. Or just organize the zip folder that way and it should stick. It takes like 10 seconds and involves no updates or software outside of winzip or iZarc which literally everyone who d'ls music has.

I have the Native EP that they released last year and the 2005 Rehearsal but I need to still get that comp along with some of the band's earlier stuff. When it comes to all the projects that 'He Who Gnashes Teeth' has been involved in, I would take Furdidurke and Cirrhus over Bone Awl any day.

Also, Maximus's [I]J'Encule Allah[/I] has one of the worst vocalists ever, which sucks because otherwise they have quite a bit of potential but that voice, it's like a Frenchman having his anus pierced with violent enthusiasm.
