i hate when you're trying to get somewhere fast, and you're going at a nice pace, and then you get up to the group of 10 kids who walk as slow as possible so they can gossip. they take up the whole hallway, and you have to listen to their gossip. i'm too polite to walk through them most of the time.

i don't know if polite is the right word. oh well.

RedDot 04-27-2006 09:33 PM

I like to walk at a nice pace.
But I'm also usually part of those big groups, but me is polite, and tells everyone to push aside for the young lad whom wants to pass.
:smoke:

Edit'd: Nice pace = cruisin' slightly fast, but not ridiculously fast

fishbulb 04-27-2006 09:35 PM

Especially people at the LA auto show. They walk backwards to get a nice shot and spina round all kinds then look at the ceiling while walking straight towards you. Actually sprinting at you.

fishbulb 04-27-2006 09:37 PM

800th post!!

My Buddy who I started a band with is looking into getting a Warr guitar.

He is gonna compare that model with a Grand Chapman.

I have always been intrested in the seperate finger independance idea.

rockindrummer 04-27-2006 10:14 PM

That thing has a beast fret board. My god that is rediculous.

Futuro 04-27-2006 10:18 PM
That thing has a beast fret board. My god that is rediculous.
It is a tapped instrument for the most part.

He plays a 6 string bass right now, He just wants to play more notes.

rockindrummer 04-27-2006 10:30 PM

How many strings does that have? I'm thinking around 12.

Futuro 04-27-2006 10:35 PM

Yep thats a 12, they also have a 14 and 10.

Pretty awsome I thought, But IMO a stick looks much more comfy (No body)

The ability to process the pickups independantly would make me go with the stick too.

Double Bass Jim 04-28-2006 12:35 AM

You better have some damn fine accuracy tapping on that thing

What is UK college equal to in the US? I'm always confused about this. Also, what to GCSEs get you into?

Corkofski 04-28-2006 07:58 AM

er... i dunno:S
we leave Secondary (high) school at 16, with GCSES, which get us into college, which is non compulsory, and comes before uni

Aaron 04-28-2006 08:06 AM

UK college is the equivalent of the 11th and 12th grades at US high school. As Corky said, college is non-compulsory, compulsory education ends at the equivalent of the end of your 10th grade.
