Yeah same here. I'd be disappointed if A7X confirmed for another day but hey, at least Metallica are on Saturday.

Yeah that'd more than make up for it. Any idea when the day tickets go on sale?

Jev 03-15-2006 11:14 AM

I heard it's pretty close to the actual dates. I'd guess 4 weeks before the gig.

Do you know how much they are?

Jev 03-15-2006 04:25 PM

Umm usually £60-80.

BLS_Infernus 03-15-2006 05:26 PM

For some odd reason when I look to buy tickets online it always comes out to $20 USD for good seats.

I hope they play No Leaf Clover

PepsiMetal 03-15-2006 10:30 PM

It would be cool if they play some new stuff though. A nice sneak peak before the album so we can know what we should expect.

Yea that would be really really cool.

I just can't tell ya'll how much I'm waiting for this new album...I've already planned my party for when it comes out. I'm gonna start putting some money away so I can go see them in austin (I doubt they will come here...they've only came here twice in their existence)

Yeah, you see over here, things cost rediculous prices.

I would only like for them to play one, maybe two songs from it. Besides that they shouldn't play any songs past the black album.

SimonCore 03-16-2006 10:27 AM

Master of puppets and i'm going to see them in three months. As i have said so many times before.

Didn't someone say there was a problem with the bassist?

At Earls Court they did just that. Minus 2 St Anger songs.

Rob's problem was that he's hispanic apparently

HarryFletersnatch 03-16-2006 12:36 PM

Indeed they are, welcome to the forums

BLS_Infernus 03-16-2006 07:46 PM

Why wouldn't you want them to play any song past the Black album? You're missing out of some great songs there mang.

I agree. There are couple great songs on st. anger, reload, and especially black album.

It's all subjective, so yea, they could be great.

To be honest at a concert I'd rather hear their earlier stuff. If they played a few post-Black album songs I'd be fine with it but I wouldn't like a set list comprimised of mainly post-Black album material.

Jim 03-17-2006 07:15 AM

Me too, but being a member of the St.Anger faithful (there aren't many of us) I would like some St.Anger. Even just Sweet Amber to kick things off and then pull out the classics from there. What a great opener that would be...

Apocalyptic Raids 03-17-2006 08:20 AM

Nothing could possibly top Blackened as an opener.

BLS_Infernus 03-17-2006 08:24 AM

A lot of there post-black album songs are great live and I know from experience.

2muchket! 03-17-2006 11:36 AM

sad but true would be an amazing opener

Jev 03-17-2006 11:45 AM

I think it'd make a terrible opener.

ever eeking always rupert 03-17-2006 12:22 PM

The best opener is and always will be Ecstasy of Gold :p
