The plot is pretty good by itself but the cinematography is sort of surreal, it adds a lot to the emotion you get watching the movie imo.

I'm the first to admit that I don't know anything about movies or really what constitutes a technically good movie, but that's one of the few I walked out of admiring the cinematography for.

Oh yeah I'm definitely no movie buff either. For the most part I only watch "mainstream" movies and I like anything that entertains me pretty much. I understand little about what makes good movies.

However, I know what makes good music, and I must say, this Bigelf album is good music.

There is a difference between making a "good" movie and making an entertaining/engrossing one and the creators of Children of Men seriously missed whatever filmmaking lesson that is.

yeah a movie about a guy fleeing from government officials and armed rebels in post apocalyptic britain isn't engrossing at all

the urban fight scene in children of men was absolutely awesome. I liked the scene where they were walking down the stairs with all the solders in the stairwell.
