Playing with alot of spaceleaves you open to quick emtional mood changes. Opeth has this down to a science, They use subtlety and silence to make heavy fast parts, that much more heavier.

What would you take over CS for a snare? A lot of people say coated amb, for some reason I don't like ambs or g1s on the snare.

Well, I was gonna say amb... But Reverse dots are good heads. Personally I like the Evens Reverse Power center, over the Remo Dot.

Never thought I woudl say this. But, Im gonna need some Punk beats lol. other than the basic blast beats. I found a guy who is actually nice and open to the drummers opinions lol. And ya, he wants to start a punk/ska influenced band. And I want to do more than just the smae beats in every song, so I wanna have a nice variety.
