Lion of Judah - Didn't even know they were playing, think they got added last minute. Into them live, not so much on CD.
The Mongoloids - Kids were goin off, so much energy. Couple fights during their set which wasn't cool. War Hungry - Played like 2 songs since its like CW with 2 different guys, definitely awesome. I need to pickup their split with CW. Cold World - Kind of sloppy tonight but I still had fun. Filming for a DVD that is coming out on 1917 records with Ice Grillz reissued. Kids were all over the place. 108 - So nuts, kids were going off. Solid set even though I'm only familiar with like 2 songs. New song sounded good. They took time off in the middle of recording to come play this show with Lifetime. Lifetime - Solid, kids were jumping off speakers and shit. Kind of wish they didn't play new songs, but they really aren't bad. Almost didn't get into the show because security was being mad gay. Originally only let 200 kids in, but later on they started letting anyone who showed up in. Picked up a No Rights 7", my friend got an Earth Crisis demo tape for $25. I was going to pick up the EC Firestorm and All Out War 7"s but didn't feel like dropping 30 bucks on them. |
I wish I could kick my own ass for not staying for more than like half a song of Stiggy's war...
R'N'R still is better than most, even though they are kinda boring live. Also lol at me never hearing Iron Age before that because it was there first show. Plus, that was Lion of Judah's first show too. And Set Your Goals played, back when they were still fun... |

I still think a lot of people got screwed and had to go home. What were you wearing haha? I completely forget what you look like so I didn't really know how to recognize you. The show was great though aside from the drama during the Mongoloids. I was really into them, along with every band that played. The end of Ostrichsized was nuts, one of the funnest parts of a song ever. This also was the best i've seen Lifetime play. Only pickups for tonight were the Cold World/War Hungry split 7'' and a Hirax picture disc 7''. The two dudes selling all of their records had some great stuff, I wish I had more money to spend. |
Lifetime had in written contract that they'd allow 500 kids in, rent-a-cops were dicks. After talking to the school admin they managed let in another 150 or so kids. Also Lifetime was sneaking kids in the back and adding random people to their guest list to help kids in.
I was wearing a white Guns Up! hoodie. |
reiner you loved cbk, admit it.
and somehow I just can't get past the mongoloids vocals. |
The Mongoloids suck.
The Mongoloids suck.
Most overrated band right now, and in general one of the worst bands in the history of the world. |
reiner you loved cbk, admit it.

Musically i'm into it, but yeah the vocals are hard to get into.
|
The only vocals I'm into by them is that one part in Still Ill "I hope you understand, THIS WAS YOUR LAST FUCKIN CHANNCCEEE"
|
agreed, he needs to do that more often.
just saw Terror and Suicidal Tendencies live.
Terror was good, but ST was just insanely awesome
Awesome, I'm seeing those two this weekend. What was Suicidal Tendencies setlist like? |
Bane, Down to Nothing, The Banner, Ambitions, The Geeks tonight. Leaving in like half an hour when my friend comes to pick me up.
|
Does anyone know any sites for free movie downloads? I'm going on a trip with school and need something to do for the 8 hour bus ride.

Hit up bittorrent. |
The Geeks - Covered that Jock Jams song they play at basketball games. Not a bad band, lyrics are some of the most generic words I've ever heard.
Ambitions - Sucks there was only like 8 kids into them, people need to get on that. Covered Quicksand and only 3 kids recognized it. New LP in the summer on B9. The Banner - Played Marked for Life and greg from mongoloids sang, so happy they played that. Also played Outgunned, and covered Misfits. Solid set. Down to Nothing - Had no idea so many kids were going to go off for them. Played awesome, mad stage dives. Bane - Solid set, kids were going nuts to every song. Its not very often you get to see kids stage diving 10-15ft off the stage. Picked up a sweet crewneck. Cluck U - Awesome decision, lovin' getting 9 wet bites when I only ordered 6. |
Awesome, I'm seeing those two this weekend.
What was Suicidal Tendencies setlist like?
They played a new song, i think. It was catchy, but nothing extraordinary. They played some old stuff like : War Inside My Head, Possessed to Skate, Subliminal, I Saw Your Mommy, and few others which escapes my mind at the moment. Bummed that they didnt play Institutionalized though |
theyre probably tired of that song by now
|
maybe
still an awesome song |
That's what I was scared of, they'd got sick of their best songs after 20 years and wouldn't play them.
|

Yeah i missed DTN and Blacklisted when they came here but apparently everyone went mad for DTN but no one did anything for Blacklisted.. |
same here. blacklisted were really not appreciated enough. down to nothing though had to be one of the most manic sets ive ever seen. kids in the rafters and stuff. so many stagedives. id love to see bane again, and ambitions.

And give them a break with the lyrics, they're Koreans. |
Haha Eulogy Recs made an account and posted some stuff about Hoods preorders and one of the other mods deleted it and banned him.
