illmitch 12-27-2009 06:05 AM

tell me whatcha think

its quite the scene

Meatplow 12-27-2009 06:09 AM

haha i've actually seen that film before

illmitch 12-27-2009 06:13 AM

nice! what do you think of it? the film overall is actually probably one of my least favorite Fulci movies, but that scene is impeccable

Meatplow 12-27-2009 06:23 AM

everything i've seen of Fulci (which is admittedly not much) i've at least liked quite a bit, I didn't mind it at all ;]

have you seen Cat In The Brain? he plays himself having psychotic nightmares from directing exploitation films, it was terrible but I found it incredibly funny.

illmitch 12-27-2009 06:25 AM

never seen that, but now i want to!

i've seen The Beyond (which I'm now rewatching, and which is an AMAZING movie), House by the Cemetery (pretty good), and Zombi II (good, but i didnt pay much attention to it - watched while doing other stuff on the computer)

Meatplow 12-27-2009 06:29 AM

Its pretty funny watching him flip out, his acting is so, so bad. It takes a nice dip into nazisploitation too, from what I remember ;]

I'm yet to see The Beyond, i've been long overdue.

illmitch 12-27-2009 06:33 AM

sounds nice. i've been torrenting like mad lately, so i'll definitely put it on the list.

and yeah, The Beyond is just amazing. very, very gory, but it's also very offsetting and disjarring - the script is incongruous, which IMO just adds to its effect. it approaches lovecraftian horror better than the vast majority of films i've seen.

Meatplow 12-27-2009 06:47 AM

shady happenings a brewin' (check your email inbox)

I should go to bed but probably won't for another 10

AA-12 12-27-2009 06:55 AM

my sleeping schedule is somehow fixing itself. ive been constantly tired though.

Meatplow 12-27-2009 06:55 AM

yeah i'm always tired but i don't fall into the trap of napping

eating lots of rice helps
