psh havent heard that one yet , and if you listen most songs arent even about that.

bottlerocket 11-30-2004 08:15 PM
correctino i had one, i almost had a FATA one but that died quickly , hardcore gets real boring real fast, and then you keep coming back deeper into it. but saves the day is amazing
Used to be into hardcore, for about, 5 months or so. I grew out of it fast. It all sounds the same, and it's all fashion now...

The FATA CDs are alright, but they get so BORING. After one listen, it's done for about a month...

I like my music much better. :)

Do you think they write like, one song per girlfriend, or is there multiple songs per girlfriend?
You are cool gav but the emo kids at my school are all assholes. They are extremely energetic, whilst I am extremely lethargic, and they just give a lot of people, who cant stand up for themselves, crap.
Thanks man. :)

But yeah, I know the type you're talking about. The type that want to whine a lot, so they use "I'm emo" as an excuse. They're what gives emo a bad name. Boo on the whiney kids.
I just think there funny: "My girlfriend left me, Im gonna write a song about it"
No, only about 10% of "emo" songs are about that crap.

Listen to Further Seems Forever...I don't think any, in fact, I know there aren't any, of their songs deal with "my girl left me. Boo hoo."

Why don't you stop being so judgemental and stop talking about stuff you don't know about? If you haven't listened and exposed yourself to a lot of "emo" bands, then you're "taking a shot in the dark." Congratulations, you're judgemental and apply stereotypes!

Yeah, there are emo bands that just write about how their girlfriends left them, and there are certain songs that deal with breakups, but that doesn't make them whiny. Listen to "Rocks, Tonic, Juice, Magic" by Saves the Day. Not only is it about being dumped and wanting revenge, but it's upbeat and has a cool bass line.
