Whoa, you have satch's ibanez? How much did that babe run you?
Graduation gift.

Cherry Red finish. Plays like a mother-****er...when I get the intonation fixed it'll be a pick-up change away from being my favorite guitar ever.

If I could have three electric guitars, I'd have my Satch guitar, an American Strat, and a Schecter C-1. That seems a perfect package. :thumb:
I doubt this was actually him. I dont belive it.
Ah, don't Canadians spell realise with an s?

NP earthtone 9 - tat twam asi

superpeer 03-23-2005 01:46 PM

Then it's just a little joke I guess.

Today I skipped some tutorials and got:

Tiger Army - II: Power of Moonlite

And paid for S.O.D. - Speak English or Die + a live S.O.D. CD, for a friend, because he didn't have any money and it was really cheap.

:)

Bartender 03-23-2005 01:48 PM

You should have kept it :)

What's the Tiger Army like?

superpeer 03-23-2005 01:53 PM

Hah, perhaps, I'm nice like that though.

Tiger Army is the same old: stand up bass, dark melodies, echoes/tremelo and melancholic feeling. :)

The weird thing about Tiger Army is that most of their songs don't seem to have choruses. Sometimes I miss it.

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 01:57 PM

SOD=awesome.

superpeer 03-23-2005 01:58 PM

ICB: Yes, that is a Therion avatar. /very late

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 01:59 PM

Yeah, try a day and a quarter late.

You owe me time.

superpeer 03-23-2005 02:01 PM

Perhaps. Therion is great though.

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:03 PM

I agree.

My friend can play it unbelievably fast on the piano

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:17 PM

I used to know how to play that. I played it all the time then moved on.

\m/Pete\m/ 03-23-2005 02:18 PM
I used to know how to play that. I played it all the time then moved on.
(I was at class when you left that first message)

EDIT:

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:19 PM
on the guitar?
Yeah. Forgot how to play it though. I remember there were a bunch of chromatics in it...

Jom 03-23-2005 02:19 PM

I don't want to sound really lame or anything, but wow, Powertabs is extremely helpful.

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:20 PM

 Did you ever figure out Guitar Pro?

And you have to love the "export tab" option on Power Tab.

\m/Pete\m/ 03-23-2005 02:21 PM
Yeah. Forgot how to play it though. I remember there were a bunch of chromatics in it...
Well props to you...chromatics are really hard for me ever since i got over my tendonitis

I dont think i'll be able to play lead again :upset:

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:22 PM

You had tendonitis? Bummer, man.

Cain 03-23-2005 02:22 PM
I don't want to sound really lame or anything, but wow, Powertabs is extremely helpful.
/Me wishes I could download it

There's no Mac version :(

They've got some tabs that I would kill to learn on guitar, like Whispering a Prayer by Steve Vai.

Shred Danson 03-23-2005 02:22 PM

Ah, time for class. Seacrest Out!

Jom 03-23-2005 02:23 PM
1. Did you ever figure out Guitar Pro?

2. And you have to love the "export tab" option on Power Tab.
1. No :(

2. What is this feature?

Cain 03-23-2005 02:24 PM

AH, maybe you could hook me up with a text-file version of that song... :naughty:

EDIT: He's probably talking about a feature that exports the tab as something other than a Power tab file, like a picture file or something. My Finale notation program has something similar.

Answer my request :). Maybe you could download the tab for "whispering a prayer" and give me a normal file of it (non-power-tab) :naughty: :naughty:

You got three naughty faces. You better own up. :)

\m/Pete\m/ 03-23-2005 02:24 PM
You had tendonitis? Bummer, man.
yeah it sucked really bad, my arm still starts to hurt sometimes. Not matter how much i stretch or how correctly i play

its ok though i guess, i kinda play complexed rhythm parts so i'll just find someone else

Jom 03-23-2005 02:30 PM

Hahaha, alright, I'll try to figure this out for you. I owe you one probably anyway.
