Actually, the US dollar is worth more than the Euro right now. Not by a whole lot, but still.

Gas prices are terrible though. I'm glad my car gets about 30 mpg, otherwise I'd be screwed.

But yeah, Jim's right, the only real difference between the two economies is that ours fails faster. That, and gas prices have always been ridiculously high in Europe, which is why public transportation is such a mainstay there. I really wish Americans knew how to use public transportation, and that it didn't suck in my city.

1 eur = 1.24 USD, meaning it takes a 24 extra cents to equal just one euro. in other words the euro is worth 24 more cents than the dollar.

Ok, gotcha now. I get confused about that alot, I don't know why.

Most bands convey some sort of emotion. If by emotion you mean they are depressed, well then Nirvana is another good example.
