freaking euro is woopin' up on the good 'ol USD.
at least we've still got the peso beat. anyone seen the new $10 bills? i think they're ugly as hell. there are so many little things about it i think are horrible looking. |
I had one but I spent it before I could examine it. Only thing I remember was it was more colorful.
|
Actually, the US dollar is worth more than the Euro right now. Not by a whole lot, but still.
Gas prices are terrible though. I'm glad my car gets about 30 mpg, otherwise I'd be screwed. |

Quoted from XE currency converter:
1 USD = 0.803033 EUR This always confuses me, and I could very well be wrong, but whatever. |
i used the same converter. it's actually about 20-24 cents not 30.
no big deal man, i had to convert the euro to dollar then dollar to the euro because you had me thinking i was wrong for a second and i was starting to get confused a bit. |
It doesnt matter anyway
With locations and inflation everything evens out |

But yeah, Jim's right, the only real difference between the two economies is that ours fails faster. That, and gas prices have always been ridiculously high in Europe, which is why public transportation is such a mainstay there. I really wish Americans knew how to use public transportation, and that it didn't suck in my city. |
1 eur = 1.24 USD, meaning it takes a 24 extra cents to equal just one euro. in other words the euro is worth 24 more cents than the dollar.
|
Ok, gotcha now. I get confused about that alot, I don't know why.
|
it happens to the best of us from time to time

Even someone like me
 |
Whatever happened to musicians who wrote with alot of different emotions in mind? Ya know? Tool is good for Modern Rock, but they are monotonous, Every song is dark.
*sigh* /Puts on Genesis, Selling england by the pound. |
Thus why I love The Who. Just listen to Quadrophenia, the change in emotions from the beginning to end is brilliant. I love that album.
However, right now, I'm going to listen to Passion, Grace, and Fire while I sleep. Night, MX. |
i'm about to head to bed myself.
i like listening to rush's feedback album when i have trouble sleeping. i love all those songs, the originals and rush's versions. i actually think rush has better versions of a majority of them |
Old genesis... What great music they put out
I've got the 4-cd live set from the late 60's to 70's and some of the most amazing stuff. They set the bar for prog thats for sure... And you wanna talk about progressive music? That stuff is really OUT there. |
However, right now, I'm going to listen to Passion, Grace, and Fire while I sleep. Night, MX.
Awsome album! Im gonna play to Sitchia for my MI audition cd. (Need mics :( )

stone sour have emotion.
|
Most bands convey some sort of emotion. If by emotion you mean they are depressed, well then Nirvana is another good example.

Ayreons The human equation album
Check that out if you want some deep music, songwriting and lyrics. I still listen to it regulary and it always blows me away. |
Only to someone who wants to see it that way
I've seen what i've posted way more then I can count on both hands thats for sure
Like i said, im not saying you're wrong. There are other reasons, they just tend to be rarer in todays society where the masses use it to hide from their problems. |
What NOT to do with a dead whale.
Theres no such thing as a 14" Splash. Splashes and crashes are essentially the same, as a splash gets bigger it sounds more and more like a crash.
