So, the other night I got stopped and searched for blades by the police. I didn't have any, but more importantly for my 10 minutes of wasting time getting felt up by some bald pervert I got this certificate.

A gift certificate like those ones you get as a kid saying like "I drove the cars at legoland", except saying "This is to certify that ..... was stopped and searched by the metropolitan police".

the certificate is so that if you wish to take the matter to court you have proof you were searched.

It seems unimportant but for things like being stopped under the terrorism act it kinda matters.
