I don't like the sun much. I have very little melanin in my skin. My family is prone to skin cancer. If it weren't for the fact that I'd die with out the sun, I would live in a house with no windows, drive a car with extremely tinted windows while wearing a suit like people with XP wear, rally to create massive biodomes that cover 90% of Earth's desirable surface, and work to build huge underground cities so that I never have to see that stupid orange ball again.

First day of school today. In my stat class there's a drummer to the left and to the right of me, tapping is going on everywhere. One of them's really really hot though.

I just got out of Computers and Music. Effing awesome course. We get to mess around with all these different MIDI programs. Each computer station has a little MIDI keyboard too.

We're also learning how to make full combo tracks (minus drums) for practicing purposes, so I will get to transcribe my choices of songs onto this MIDI program and make a whole play-along CD.

Music Theory was also fun, because the instructor told us that we are basically going to be playing and working on ear training. He got his previous students (who are reaaaaally good) to come up and play, and he picked me to drum (only two other drummers in the class) and I had a snare, hi hat, and ride cymbal. It was really fun because I got to trade 4's and it didn't sound like shi[i]i[/i]t!!!

Now I have a hella long time (2.5 hours) 'til Astronomy, so I ate lunch and now I'm back on MX :p

That sounds awesome. I wish our high school had music theory ( I know you're in college). The only fun part of today was talking to a lesbian about her past sexual experiences. Other than that it was pretty boring.

Yea my high-school sucked when it comes to music. We had a jazz band, concert band, and then arranged for our own combos. Our teacher was pretty good, but he really liked playing cheesy songs, so I was only in concert band for one year. Combo was fun though; we were called "Good Wood" in honour of the drumstick.

to matt: my college has a dedicated muic block, with it suite, 2 performance areas, a dedicated percussion room, 4 studios, 1 analog 3 digital, a chillout area and a ****load of other stuff, icluding 4 kits and a selection of awesome cymbals, including my teachers 13" new beats which i want to try a LOT :)

Yeah she's female. The one to the left of me is male, the one to the right is female. She used to play snare in concert band back in middle school, i've known her for a while. I slept over at her house a couple months ago (friends with bro) and she had a drumset at her house, so i'm guessing she can play set too. But she definitely was tapping haha. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, tan skin, like the typical normal hot blonde girl. So hot. Not too bright though haha :P

Not the kind that spreads though, so it was just a big ugly mole that they chopped off.
