I liked the intro to Battery. The heavy part didn't sound right.
I love the intro to battery. Best part of the song in a way.

Hey BLS, how many times have you seen Metallica live?

BLS_Infernus 03-11-2006 05:35 PM
Hey BLS, how many times have you seen Metallica live?
13 times. Half the time I was about 5-6 and my dad took me before I was even into music.

Jev 03-11-2006 05:50 PM
Yea I think they only played once and that's during that recording. Maybe they'll play in 08/09 for 10 year anniversary of S&M.
Actually I think it was 3 or 4 times. I know they did 2 in San Francisco and one in Germany or something. There may have been a fourth in America somewhere.

PepsiMetal 03-11-2006 08:28 PM

So was only one sold on dvd?

Thor 03-11-2006 08:31 PM

You saw them when you were 6? What did you think of them back then?

PepsiMetal 03-11-2006 08:34 PM

Wow at the age of 6 I was running to take cover from bombing. :(

You are one lucky basturd BLS. lol

BLS_Infernus 03-11-2006 08:38 PM

I was thinking...."Jesus this is loud...what is with all these people banging there head...it hurts when I do it....it's a little bit cramped in this spot"

Thor 03-11-2006 08:38 PM
I was thinking...."Jesus this is loud...what is with all these people banging there head...it hurts when I do it....it's a little bit cramped in this spot"
That's probably what I would have thought if I saw them at that age. :)

Lionheart1827 03-11-2006 08:43 PM

I remember seeing S&M in NY, it was my first concert. It still is to this day one of the best concerts I've ever been to.:thumb:

So true. Metal scared me when I was younger. My brother would put it on just to scare me.

My first concert was when I was 6 or 7. I saw Alan Jackson. Very mellow.

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 10:14 PM

Metal never scared me.

I had a record player when I was five w/ Van Halen, The Doors and Def Lepperd.

Damn those were the days.

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 10:19 PM

Thomas the Tank Engine for me at 5.

BLS_Infernus 03-11-2006 10:22 PM

My actually first concert was a Slayer concert at the age of 5...............now that was scary

PepsiMetal 03-11-2006 10:22 PM
What bombing?
Yugoslavian war of course. :p

I remember one day I was going to first grade, and was walking to school, and then the city siren came on. Scary as hell. Ahh well, good thing it's all past.
My actually first concert was a Slayer concert at the age of 5...............now that was scary
Good thing you survived. I would have thought people would just crush all small kids.
Thomas the Tank Engine for me at 5.
lol @ you

I hated that kiddie stuff & disney movies when I was little. I just hated all of it.

I also was addicted to reading all the box scores in the sports section from about age 6 or 7. haha.

ever eeking always rupert 03-12-2006 01:58 PM

I dunno, I just decided it was time we were on our guard around him. He's too Mexican for his own good.

Jev 03-12-2006 02:04 PM

Oh right. I'd say he's trustworthy.
