VoM played 2 new songs, were good but eh at the same time

vocalist is really bad now, does mostly shitty mids

I like the mids he does live tbh. His highs have gotten pretty shriek-y again so that's cool.

They're def not as tight anymoar though.

That tour was amazing, Periphery and Animals as Leaders stole the show imo.

After The Burial is pretty bad.

Eh I think their alright, they have some pretty nice guitar work.I think they would be a whole lot better if they didn't write songs around their odd breakdowns.

False. Most deathcore is awful. After The Burial is one of the most awful.

Generic breakdowns are so easy to enjoy that every awful deathcore band has to have had a moment or two.

it's one thing when it's on a record

but if you're at a show and you've had a few drinks you can't even pretend like the juns don't feel kinda good

i mean if im drunk even on record the most basic and generic of breakdowns is throw downable

Darkest Hour sucks because their riffs follow pleasing melodies instead of pointless "complex" wank riffs I know.

And DEP is too elite for you anyhow.

Animals As Leaders. Kinda cool post-metal band that gets very monotonous in some songs.

Like 2/3 songs are good.

They had 2 great albums Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us everything else was typical Melodeath.

Emphasis on some. Some of his lyrics are so good, and then others just seem rushed and like what?

Agreed I think the best lyrics he wrote were for Autumn Tint of Gold,Abyssal Creation, and Beneath Dying Skies.

Ha ha I am also friends with him on myspace.

I used to talk to their original guitarist and drummer a lot on there, even set up a show with Graves Of Valor and my band before Famine came out, all via myspace emails haha.

But of course they got screwed over and couldn't play the show. :(
