After seeing them yesterday, I witnessed the amazing improvement of Stephen Keach.

His high-pitch can now compare to Jimmy's.
His vocals are just so awesome now.

Yeah, From the Eyes of the Dead were pretty good.
The only thing that made their show was the drums.

But yeah, there is no way Haste the Day isn't awesome.

Anyways, Haste the Day is not an amazing band in general, but they put on an amazing show.

I prefer their old vocalist, but I think their new one is getting better and better to the point where he could top the old one.

Yeah, Through the Eyes of the Dead was never THAT good in my opinion.

Their split with the Knife Trade was incredible. I'll link a song, but we should really get back on topic.

Listen to that song, it slays Haste The Day.

The show was good. I like all 4 bands and while every band was good, I still expected more from Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Haste The Day, and All That Remains. I may be biased because the sound wasn't very loud. I could have a whole conversation with someone right next to me without having to raise my voice all that much, which takes away from the energy of the show. As I Lay Dying were really good. Lots of energy on every song and perfect performance. Also they were the only band that sounded as good vocally live as they do on their cd.

Through The Eyes Of The Dead's live show used to be so much better than their recordings, it's such a shame that's no longer the case.

ive never really listened to TTEOTD... whats a good album to start on so that i know whats in store for me at their show?

They always play one song from The Scars Of Ages (Beneath Dying Skies) two songs from The Annihilation Of Expectation (Abyssal Creation and Truest Shade Of Crimson), and normally a lot of stuff off Bloodlust (they've opened with Force Fed Trauma the last three times I've seen them and closed with Two Inches From A Main Artery), but I imagine they probably play a lot of stuff off of Malice now, which is a terrible album.

so of all of those, which one is the best one to listen to first?

I'd listen to them in this order: The Scars Of Ages, The Annihilation Of Expectation (split with The Knife Trade), then Bloodlust... you'll notice that when their lead guitarist quit (right after TAOE was recorded) their music got a lot less good.
