Everyone here is pretty cool... or at least i just dont see what goes on.

Apart from that one guy that stole someones phone. Funniest story ever:

Jesse and Tom are at the train station (tom is a massive aborigianl guy), and they see this guy talking on his mobile.

So Tom walks up to him and says 2 words: "phone cunt"

The guy looks up at him and says: "yeah sure, can i get my simcard out first"

Tom: "yeah"

me: *laughter*

Pluperfect_Arson 10-30-2006 03:53 AM

That is ridiculous!

Az_Holl 10-30-2006 03:54 AM
Eh...I know that my one guitarist would have my back in a fight seeing as he used to fight and he won't back out of anything. My other guitarist is just like me, and we're both extremely laid back and not caring about anything. My drummer would probably run away, but my vocalist has been in many fights, so he could do it.

My Asian friend can definitely kick anyone's *** and has the highest tolerance for pain that I have ever seen.

Then my other friend...well...he would just be like "Ah, no fighting!"

Of course, I don't go around looking for fights, and I am also not one to start **** with anyone.

Go by this motto: Never start it, but always finish it.
yeah you really dont want people that just start swinging because more than likely you could have avoided the fight in the first place.

Its cool to know that your friends look out for you though.

Yeah, I guess, it is good to know if it ever comes up.

Seriously, though, I have had people come up to me and say, "Nik, I could never hate you." It even happened at a party. My friend said, "Even though Nik made out with the girl that I liked after he said he wouldn't, I still could never hate him." Then everyone looked at me and agreed, and I felt terribly uncomfortable. :amaze:

I am also rather quiet and kept to myself the majority of the time, so I don't see many fights in the future seeing as the last one I was in was third grade, and that lasted about two seconds.

funkyhoney 10-30-2006 03:59 AM

i learnt a good lesson from my girlfriends brother in law on saturday night. i can't really remember it, but it was something about always over-estimating your opponant and 90% of the time you could and should talk your way out of it.

having said that, he's a strong as **** meat worker and he's gonna teach me how to fight, go me

Az_Holl 10-30-2006 04:01 AM

The last fight i was in wasnt even really a fight, i just grabbed this guy and pushed him up against a brick wall... then i realised he was a good foot taller than and quite broad. Oh man i ran faster than forest gump

But your a skinny bitch, just kick him in the sack.

Pluperfect_Arson 10-30-2006 04:02 AM

Yeah, I would always assume that my opponent would be better in combat than I am just so I wouldn't make the mistake of going in there, guns blazing.

I also wouldn't ever be the first one to swing because A) I think fighting is a bit idiotic, and B) it could almost always be solved before it goes to that. In fact, I would probably be the last one to swing. :p

Have fun being taught how to fight, though!

When it comes to my bass playing, I always seem to be at my best when I'm playing less.

If I take a couple days off, or only play for a few minutes in a day, or anything like that, I always seem to play better when I actually do play. And by better, I mean what I play sounds good, my creativity is higher, etc.

Ditto, it allows one to come back "fresh" so to speak, rather than trying to force it.

hey guys

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:30 PM

ben, are you out here? if you are....

here's my latest.

since i'm at school, and had nothing to do, i started something a little different than last nite. same concept, just some minor changes in the overall design. also, i found that text that brad used and messed around with it.

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j34/British_Kid/ben%20lesser/wowzercopy.jpg

i think it looks really good, but with that font, i think it's a little difficult to tell that there is an "r" at the end of your name. it looks more like "lessen"

what do you think?

sixner 10-30-2006 02:32 PM

casual?

Yeah, I like it. I've got no beefs with the text, myself, though I wonder if you couldn't make the album title a different colour, maybe? I'm not sure what colour, but something that still matches, but is different from my name.

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:36 PM

sure thing

/gets to work

lemoley 10-30-2006 02:37 PM

hey sixner

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:38 PM

ok, how about this one? its opposite of your name now.
sure thing

Schweet.

I think we're pretty much done this.

Although, if you have the patience, would you mind doing up a 1 page insert to go on the other side of the cover art? Mostly the track list, but a few other things like acknowledgements and my myspace address? Nothing fancy, just the same background with a plain white font on top?

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:42 PM

sure!

you want the whole thing to be a "combined" pic (or whatever it's called)?

like a long pic that when printed, would simply just need to be folded, or do you want a different page altogheter?

BenJammin 10-30-2006 02:44 PM

I like the colour, but it's harder to make out in the black. If the font were just a bit bigger, do you think that would make it clearer?

One long pic would be amazing. That would save me so much effort, since I suck at cutting stuff out.

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:49 PM

alright. i'll try increasing the size.

otherwise, i'll try a shade of gray.

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:54 PM

ok. changed it to gray with a black stroke around it for contrast.

what do you think?

also, track list?

white text for it, right?

BenJammin 10-30-2006 02:54 PM
alright. i'll try increasing the size.

Okay, gruel. I'll try and type up all of the random information that I want on the insert.

Yeah, white text. Doesn't need to be a fancy font, either.

Looks good.

I'll go type that stuff up.

And what's your proper name? I confess to not knowing it, and I definitely want you in there for doing this art for me.

British Kid 10-30-2006 02:58 PM

Okay, I'll go type it all up now, I'll have something very shortly.
