My drummer seriously sucks, he has trouble with the Ramones, he's a good friend but he's seriously holding me and the bassist from progressing.

Pretty tough dilemma that one. Can't he (or do it for him), just simplify the drums a little bit but still make them fit and keep in time?

He can't keep time. At all. There's only one person who could replace him and he already has a pretty good band going.

I suppose you could try edge him towards lessons without crushing his spirit to much. Just like slip in that a mate of yours found drum lessons really helpful or something,

He does have lessons just doesn't go. He told us after the holidays that he hadn't practiced and laughed. We were like :angry:
As soon as we find a replacement he's out.

Dude just kick him. My friend who's a drummer is kind of like that, but he's not that bad that he can't play the Ramones lol. He doesn't practice at all though, and now he's into post-hardcore, so I'm through trying to be in a band with him.

I definately will. I need to find a replacement first.

Yeah, as sad and hard as it would be, I'd probably kick him 'cuz you could be the best guitar player in the world but if you have a s[B][I][/I][/B]hitty drummer then you'll never make it as a band. I hate having to kick out friends and at that mess but he needs to either get good in a hurry or just leave.

Maybe in the future if he gets good, you can invite him to sit in at a show or something. That way you can show there are no hard feelings.

Yeah, I uploaded that in here a while back. I found a 45 minute video on him and at the end it's got him playing Yngwie Malmsteen at his school.

That's awesome. He could mean carrying on with MD.45 though.

He won't do that. I'd say its most likely he'll go on solo, and if not, it'll be with Megadeth. If he goes solo though, he will play some MD45 songs live.

I thought MD.45 was Dave's solo career.

If they do they better change the setlist, it was almost the exact same from BTU tour and Gigantour.

I got the Rust In Peace album the other day, I havent had chance to listen to hardly any of it :upset: Ive listened to holy wars and hanger 18 though :) there cool

I'm trying to get the guitar book for RIP online but everyone keeps outbidding me.

I swear if I have to pay more than $25 for that book I'll be pissed
