hardcore shows over here are thankfully usually a calm affair. I go to shows because I like the music, want to support the band and to see the show. at least one of the three. usually all of them. I don't like being punched, kicked and shoved, because some kid feels he has to "act out".

with that said, I don't really care if people mosh. I get annoyed when they purposely mosh into people who obviously don't think this is particlarly cool, other than that - /care. but I do find it damn funny that you are attacking me because I don't like moshing. wtf, so I have to mosh if I'm at a show? no thanks.

If someone purposefully hits me, they get hit right back. If I'm not sure about it I talk to them. A lot of the time I don't care though, because I'm moshing too and I've accidentally hurt other kids before.

Point is, stay away from the pit if you don't want someone to hit you, it's extremely simple.
