thursday is good but they are post-hardcore not emo or screamo. and there is nothing to screaming/yelling get up on stage and screech your ****ing heart out. (dont literally get on stage though because you probaly suck at screaming and that would be detrimental to us all).

It depends on what style of music you trying to do. For emo, of course being taught would basically go against what emo is about. But I may pick up that video because I am going for either a black metal or a metalcore sound, and could use some instruction other than Merkaba-1's vocal thread.

He's exactly right. That's why all these metalcore bands sound like ****. The people singing are the kids who started those "how do i scream?????" threads in that one forum. Screaming is about letting out emotion, you can't be taught to scream.
