'swhy I love winamp! because it never decides to delete all my sh*t

honestly ive never really had a problem with itunes though

i just keep my ipod synced

only annoying thing is with some new version they made, alternate characters don't have the normal alt+____ codes (e.g., alt+0228 doesn't make ä, alt+0246 doesn't make ö, etc), which makes it really annoying when you want to listen to Daïtro or Hüsker Dü.

lack of an umlaut is a terrible thing.

I used winamp for many years (and still do to manage my ipod) but i like foobar way too much to change to much else now

i don't use skins or anything so it doesn't look pretty, but it uses the least resource and is the most no-bullpoop drag and drop, file/add folder media player i've ever used.

the artists don't show up if you type the non-umlauted letter

and my OCD presents me from tagging them without the umlauts

My aunt and uncle are over for christmas. They live in St Croix (which is an island in the caribbean) and my uncle is pretty drunk and basically just asked me to come stay with them for a month or 2 to do some work and chill out (although I know it's really because my mom told him she's worried about my drug use).

IDK if I should go. I mean, I have friends and a chick I'm tryin to get with and also as any addict will tell you it's hard to stare a month with no possibility of drugs in the face. But on the other hand I feel like it could put my life in a better place. And it's the ****in Caribbean!

Not reallyyyyyy... in fact, I've been pretty useless around here for the past couple of months no working no school. But being away from my only friends to go live so far away for an extended period of time....idk

a month isn't forever... even two's really not that much time. it's not like you'll never see them again. you can sort a lot of sh*t out in that period, however.
